HSBC amanah perks@work promotion is back until july 2021
3.25% max with criteria below
1) 1.75% for incremental balance
2) 0.75% for paying 3 bill
3) 0.75% for spending 1k using hsbc amanh credit /debit card.

Quite a good deal when alternate with RHB / Std chart.

For type of saving acc to receive 1.75%, Must it be HSBC Amanah saving acc type or normal HSBC saving acc?

Yes it's a relatively low requirement for Premier. Im sure it's their KPI to sign people up for Premier as I was rejected by 2 HSBC branches when I tried to open a Basic account (on the basis that can't just open an account without a real purpose) but when I complained to the GM of my home branch he was hard selling Premier. Makes no sense since I don't use any of their facilities.

No need minimum assets under management etc. I literally only use it for 100k in and out every month, no other products with them and never talk to my RM.

izit a requirement to in out 100k every month?

There are 2 options available to earn from the account:

Bonus Rates ; or
Loyalty Points

All customer will be defaulted to Bonus Rates option upon onboarding. Any selected options will take effective next following month.

How long only the "Smart Rewards" tier level for Pay, Spend and Deposit will appear on the RHB apps, if i newly open the RHB Smart account today? Why it's not reflected immediately? Or banker wrongly selected for Loyalty Points?

Yes exactly. I pay using the app, and I pay RM25 each time, and I pay from the Smart-i savings account.... dunno why only getting Bonus 1 (Save) and no Bonus 2 (Pay).

Time to call I guess.

Or need to pay from RHB apps for bill payment? Any tab to pay the bills at RHB apps?
