Crunchyroll is kind of a scumbag from what I've read.

That would be Anime Strike. Not Crunchyroll.
AS has double paywall and it is expensive for annual fee.
Just see how much complaints in ANN, MAL users torwards Anime Strike service.

-----------------

In related news, Daisuki.net ending their services end of this month.

There are very few anime company stream their anime on Youtube. Sunrise-Bandai's Gundaminfo stream most Gundam anime on their channel for free.

No I am not wrong about what I said. Crunchyroll has their fair share of issues. I don't know everything but mostly about their quality. Latest issue I can think of is when they lowered their streaming quality and issued that they were changing something in their system as an excuse
*
And that reason isnt worth to call them as scumbag. Especially if they are offering service for free users too.
Crunchyroll sub is that not bad than other. What quality issue you are even talking about?

Other site are hard to watch with their interface. Daisuki android app is shit. The PC ver site is hard to watch too.
Netflix licensed Fate/Apocypha but it wont get simulcast.

Pay 160 buck a year to watch less than 20 anime on Anime Strike versus you cant stream in higher quality but you pay only 60 buck and option for free watch with ads on Crunchyroll. The former is worse especially the way the company act towards anime fans unlike Funimation + Crunchyroll.

Well good for you then for not giving a care that they dropped their service quality. Other people don't like that, especially if they have paid for the service. And just because they have a free option doesn't mean you should give them a pass for their problems

And really not sure why you are bringing something that's out of topic from what I was talking about. I'm not defending anime strike because the link you shared showed that they are really bad. But still, doesn't relate to crunchyroll.
*
So in what way you said they were scum? Other than dont give HQ video streaming?
I not backing Crunchyroll because they dont do service for Asia especially SEA region. At least I gave a proof for other.

If they do dropping service then everyone should make fuss about it. Then they will give quick response like they did before. Also CR and Funimation merge as one company is one of their iniative to give best service to anime fans. If they suddenly dont do HQ steam could be something to do with server. But people give quick judgement that change something = bad. If hotel or hospital got some unavoidable incident people do still give bad impression regardless its their own fault or not. Customers are hard to please.

At least CR its not like Netflix and Amazon Prime's Anime Strike. They both dont give shit about majority complains.
Netflix dont do simulcast is a mistake. AS double paywall is ridiculous.
