The cooker hood sucks smoke and recirculate them back into the kitchen
Or
Th hood sucks smoke and release them outside the house through a ventilation hole which requires wall hacking upon installation of the hood?

Sorry noob question. I really never own one

2) Ducted

seems like it beats its purpose to get rid of the smoke/smell. suck smoke, then release it back inside? hmm hmm.gif
