I am in my early 30s and have just got a clean bill of health from a comprehensive medical check-up done recently. 

Aside from the usual 36 critical disease which rides on my life insurance, I am interested to purchase a medical insurance as well.  I was told by my doctor that I could obtain a policy with favourable premium supported by the lab report issued. 

I was hoping if any member here could enlighten me on the various medical insurances available.  Thanks.

You may be right.  I have an agent friend who sounded a little reluctant to entertain my queries on medical insurance, and insisted that I relook at my life insurance policy again.  I guessed probably the commission rate would be quite thin as well.

I am not surprised. Most agents do not like to sell medical card as it can be very troublesome when their client makes claim. They have to coordinate with the doctors, hospital staff, insurance company and the client in order to process the claims.
