huh??? this thread..? i find it insulting....
no one knows what is going to happen in the future...so it is imposible to predict whether you made the right choice or not.. and owen did have his moment in real madrid...and he was never really better when he was in liverpool at that time... |

Woodgate. For me, he went there for a long-period holidays than work is as player.

My pick will be Owen. He moved there, but was behind in the striking line-up. After that, he moved from R.Madrid and got injuries... Nothing won since his move. Ironically, his previous club won glamour after he left...
Anyway, it's his choice and decisions. |

Owen wasted his prime time there. Now he's in newcastle, no european football for him, probably have to fight hard to get into the top eight of epl as well. sigh..

lol...who revived this thread...
I see alot of ppl say it's Owen.. The fact is Owen was never really gonna be good enough to start for RM. Can anyone who voted for Owen honestly say that Owen deserved to start ahead of Ronaldo? He might have been good enough to start for Liverpool but he was just a squad player for us. And a good one at that; he did score more goals coming off the bench than as a starter for us anyway. |

In my opinion, I thought DBeckham had his worst time ever at Madrid. The way he has been playing for United was sensational. No matter what oppositions he come againts are always afraid of his dangerous free kicks and top notch crosses. With his departure came the cocky Ronaldo which I feel as an insult to football.
Beckham has been consistently scoring averagely 15 to 20 goals a season and has served as one of the biggest icons to lift the football status to greater heights and with his move to Madrid just made a 3-goal-a-season average player. If Beckham was still at United I think he would be captain and continuing his services as the best right midfielder ever in the UK if NOT in the world. Also, would cement his status as England's first choice midfielder with regular outings and getting 30 or 40 games a season unlike the MLS with like what? 20? |
