interesting concept.. at least the start up cost is low.. and there is better resell value if the business goes bust compared to other business ventures

I ask my friend to breakdown the cost. the hardware things is pretty cheap for example led TV can get cheap if buy direct from kilang.
but renovation is expensive. and shop rental if not mistaken is 3+1 or 4+1.
It's difficult to get a license. I was thinking ss15 area.that place surrounded by student. whatchu think ?
good idea to target student area. but ss15 always jam and I believe rental in that area always high.
dun wan to target Shah Alam area? seksyen 13 got kolej ptpl and msu. that les copauqe studio area. seksyen 7 got uitm. but you better invest in security higher.
By the way, can ask your friend how much is the set up the racing seat?
it's under entertainment. but he said nowdays it's very hard to get 1 because E-SPORT still not categorized officially yet and Khairy Jamaludin still fight this issue in parlimen. The most easiest way to do this is take over somebody business. i saw 1 in mudah he want to letgo this business @ 24K. here's the link :
Buy 1 game = old RM150 ~ RM 200 / new RM200 ~ RM250
Required = 1 HDTV + internet Pay RM10 for 2 hrs solo game is enough if your playing fighting game. Adventure game however need to sit at least 2 days ...
Not to forget parking fees (if applicable) , toll fees to get there (if applicable), gas expenses, wear & tear parts.
I believe most people got monitor nowadays, just hdmi jer.
But in the long run for sure owning one is better.

Suruh buat tournament Overwatch/Paladdin la.
Most online tournie involving these kind of games usually for PC gamers. I know that PC is master race but having a console tournie also wont be harm one. Lagi satu, kalau buat tournie ps4, balik2 Marvelvs Cap, balik2 Tekken, balik2 Gran Turismo. Boring sial.
Err... i think the bean bags and sofas are smelly. How about no?
Agree. happen to my friend. those "Tangan gatal" behavior can bring damage to bean bags. and the cheap bean bag also only long lasting 1-2 months then kempis.hahaha

You know it's easy to sweat. Some guys fatty boom boom sweat like pigs. Some guys rub the nicotine on the controllers after smoking. The controllers smell like cigarettes. Yuck, that's gross.
so meaning the current operating 1 is illegal? I remember last time those game need some special permit from the developer 1.. not sure la.. also there is the licensing with the local authority .. it fall under which catergory? internet café

for sure it's not fall under internet cafe. because internet cafe didnt allowed you to open at 2nd or 3rd floor. if not mistaken,it fall under "menjual permainan/alat video games"
In the afternoon, starting from lunch break, yeah If you target students business should be good
Ss15 with taylors and inti students should be a good idea, but there should be competitors there already, plus taylors almost bungkus, so better survey first
what do they do with the save files? apparently for games like FFXV you cant have two saves. i borrowed my friend's PS4, we had to replace each other's save file.
if open studio macam ni, players can save game ka?

if not mistaken special members will get psn ID and they can play progressive game. But I think not so many gamers come play this type of game. mostly they play football/racing/fighting games.

You can export your save file to a USB drive as well.
Guess what yr logic fail , got PS dy still want come yr shop meh. U better do more homework I very sure u won't be able to replicate yr friend success. I want to open and I can make a living open is a total different thing see yr pattern aldy confirm u will fail. Location aldy salah pilih
your logic much more failed.guess how much fun if u play with your friend ? it's not weather u have ps or not. i have ps too,but play withfriends is much more fun. in fact, how come a place like Kitamen is fully crowded ?
Yeah. this concept was not new. it all started back in SEGA and Nintendo console when i still in primary. RM1 /15minute. i still remember playing street fighter zero on PS1 with my friend RM3 /15minute with it just out and hitting the market. the business cool down when cyber cafe blooming when counter strike come out.

probably it is set for arcade game.... adventure game then better buy the console and enjoy at home...what i see here is mostly target student or adult who just want to waste time with peace of mind (since home got baby crying and wifu always marah always babysit the games shj)
overall i think it is a good concept.....

Can always make one sop before giving out to customer to clean it with hand sanitizer.
best bro.pastu cari someone yg pandai conduct event. buat fifa 18 da cukop pastu panggil media tlong buat marketing. skang ni kitamen dgn gamesbond je top.kalau kena dengan pengurusan, mesti bole pegi jauh.pegi tekan loan cepat.
This kind of business is femes in kg area, coz people like to hangout with friends, and mostly dont have ps4. But now seems a bit femes becoz of fifa18 just come out, later will be slow, need to organize event frequently
I used to do this kind of business during secondary school back in late 90's, during PS1 era, just in my living room with just one PS1. Can get profit Rm400-500 monthly.

Agreed, back then when i had a quite decent gaming pc, with good internuts, still go CC to play with frens, 5v5 dota terus, feels very awesome. Play too syok from 10pm until realize its already morning
Macam familiar je kedai ni. Apa nama kedai tu? Dan siapa owner dia?
I have been marshal for fifa tournaments since 2011, so I know a few shop owners. For some, I heard that they can just "cukup makan". But when got big tournament, like last year Malaysia Cyber Games or the annually since 2014 Selangor Cyber Games, they do make a lot of money.
Shops like Gamesbond, in my opinion is doing really well because they sell PS4 (and games and accessories) too.

Location dependent, we had a few here in Penang but all close down already. Not sure is it the cost too high, console players too few, or location problem.

Oh I thought it was your personal photo. It is actually easy. You do registration, charge reasonable fee like rm20 per player, then on the day or before the day you just make group and ensure everything going smooth so that the schedule is on time. Being a (casual) fifa gamer myself, one thing I dont like is to wait too long for my time to play, because the organiser doesnt follow their own schedule.
The hard part is to get sponsorship, because without it you cant offer a reasonable prize pool. Without a reasonable prize pool, you wont attract many players to join your event.
I wouldnt know much about securing sponsorship, since my job is only to handle the event on the day itself without problems and complaints from gamers.
