You need the Live Vision Camera, even then only your friends can see the custom pic. Use the camera to take a pic of whatever you want to use as your gamerpic.

Guys .. i need some help here.

I have a portable HDD with some movies in AVI file. Could I watch those movies on XBOX 360 my using via portable device or must I need to convert the AVI file 1st. Please advice. Thanks.

AVI using Divx codec? Must convert to MPG or WMV first. HDD must be in FAT32 format also. NTFS won't work.

LoL I also never convert ler, I just use Transcode 360 to stream from Windows Home Server via Media Center PC. Ask Redbull.

Im not sure .. but i think u can load from thumbdrive via portable devices option on ur 360.

Nope kenot. You can only use pics from thumbdrive/pc for dashboard background only.

I use Xvid4PSP to convert into MP4. You can also use WinAVI Converter to convert to WMV, a simple n good program to convert vids.

You can download Xvid4PSP from their website here. I use this to convert my HD movies to AVC encoded HD MP4, just pick the MP4 PS3 profile.

It will surely work on the 360 right .. cuz most of my movies are AVI format with DivX.

Redbull .. got any other program, this one u gave me. i have to install .NET Frameworks .. which i do not have ler.

You can download and install .NET framework from Microsoft website.
