About Pika: Pika was a stray that appeared in front of my door step looking terrible and drunk. So me and a few classmates brought it to the vet and found out it has cat flu and nervous problems and is near death. The vet asked if we really wanted to take care of it coz the cost will be high. I couldn't even imagine giving up on someone else's life when its not my own so i decided to go through with it. At the end it cost me around rm400++ and she was saved from death (which was surprising to the vet since she was so weak at first) Since we were all students the vet gave us a 40% discount (which means it was actually more thn rm 400++) and my classmates decided to help me with the fees. (still cost me a lot since I'm just a student) Yupz, randomly paying rm400 for a stray, even i think I'm crazy.

Attention:Pika is a very quiet cat that will only meow when she's in distress. I think this is due to her being deaf (she does not respond to sound at all, so she won't respond to her name or calls ) She acts a little like a dog and she can't jump or land like how cats do. She can only climb and tumble (like a dog) Which is a good thing for some as she can't jump on tables or high places to disturb. After recovering a lot she is now very playful and energetic, her favorite toys are small balls she can kick around, furry toys to bite, a box with a rat hole for her to run in and also an opened cereal box for her to rush into like a tunnel. She only poop and pee at one place she is trained to and she minds her own business when you let her know that you're busy. One problem is that she likes to scratch her head so there are some small hardened blood on her head sometimes tht u can pull off.

Pika must stay in the house at all times, she can't survive outside as she don't have the agility of a cat. She's a good house cat


Reason for adoption: I'm a student and my room landlord does not allow me to keep pets. So I have to find her a new home asap. I have been caring for Pika for around 2 months n that's already very long. hope someone can be kind enough to adopt her. Thank you. Hi guys, so this is my first time here and people recommended me to put up this post here since there are tons of people on this site. So, I hope my msg gets out clearly.

Anyway, my female dog gave birth about a month ago to 4 healthy pups.

1 boy and 3 girls. I have found a friend kind enough to adopt the boy!

The thing is I have two adult sized dogs living with me and my family in an apartment, so, it's pretty crammed as it is and now with 4 puppies, it's UNFORTUNATELY really difficult to take care of them.

So I already tried posting up picture on my Facebook to get back some feedback and so on and so forth and like I said, I had luck with only one. Anyway if you guys are interested, check out my Facebook link and do let me know if you're interested!

Added on May 23, 2010, 3:39 pmThis is Lucy.

Lucy was almost run over 2 weeks ago while trying to find shelter from heavy rain under a car leaving a parking space. Fortunately she was noticed and brought in to see us. So thin you could see all her ribs, soaked to the bone and shivering with cold the little fighter we now know as Lucy still managed to wag her tail whenever she felt someone stroking her.
Boosted up with Nutri-stat and lot of food and water, as well as a warm towel wrap to warm her up a bit, Lucy's true character started to come out; a friendly, playful but gloriously submissive dog emerged from the fragile little body.

Sadly 3 days later she developed symptoms of Parvo Virus and was rushed to hospital. After confirming the diagnosis, a very weak and almost lifeless Lucy was admitted and put on an IV drip. 2 days later she was still weak with no appetite, bad diarrhea and vomiting. Then day 3, her diarrhea and vomiting stopped, day 4 she started to eat again and so was discharged for the hospital. However still terribly thin and weak, Lucy still had some fighting to do... off to a foster home.

From this point on, Lucy's story just keeps on getting better. She consistently gained weight, energy and strength over the next few days with dedicated care from her foster mom. Her beautiful personality came flowing out again and she once again wagged her tail and played with anyone who had a spare minute for her.

Now Lucy needs a forever home to carry on her already very eventful life. If you are touched by this girl's story and her beautiful 'to-die-for' looks please do contact us to set up an appointment to meet this strong angel who has graced this earth.

Don't know where she come from, feel her very pity and she look very thin so let her live in our home temporary but because of some reason so we are not suitable to keep her.
She is very tame, very friendly, active and won't simply bark, even when i bring her out to do her "business" daily, she sure will go to those places with a lot of grasses to do her "business", won't simply make it on roadside, or in front of neighbor house, so no need worry to make your neighbor angry on that.
And when bringing her out, she will just follow you quietly, won't run here and there, so even no need a dog chain while bringing her out.
She is very friendly and easy to teach, when she wanna do something bad, (like bite thing) you scold her and she will stop that action.
Really wanna keep her but because of some reason so have to let her adopted by someone who can give love and care to her.
She is in our house for 1 week already, when she come her right face got some injuries, so we put some cure on her face, but she keep scratch it so till now her injuries still there and not yet recover.

edit: now finally the injuries has fully recovered.
