Anyone here uses this cam now? because im thinking of getting this for my gal in time. She doesnt want a DSLR, and doesnt like a bridge camera(cuz of the lens sticking out). So i've decided that I'll get this for her, since i dont like those normal P&S camera, the G7 has an advantage like the full manual mode.

Besides the G7, is there any other recommendation?

i let her tried out liao, she said she's fine with it. that's why i wanted to get the G7 for her. But im still wondering if there's another option available.
