After so long now only complain vsc? How many times Lewis lost the lead under vsc? I dare bet he's the biggest loser from vsc all along.

Instead, why not just admit your hatred towards Lewis?

I don't really see why luck can't be a part of the race. There's weather jackpot as well.

After all, it was Ferrari themselves that were tripping all over the place. Drivers were arguing for countless laps instead of focusing to increase the gap to Mercedes. Then the team took a strange decision to punish Seb for ignoring team tactic which then came back to haunt them.

Are Ferrari focusing on winning races today? LoL...

Nah... it was there, just not as much. Charles is the fastest in Sector 1 all day long. However unless you can be 1-2 seconds faster, I would say impossible to overtake. Charles was 0.8 seconds most of the time but he could not make up the gap if he's only 0.5 seconds faster. Moreover he's burning more rubber behind Bottas. He's all over the place after 10 laps behind him while Bottas was still driving nicely with a healthy gap to Lewis which helps preserved his tires and also engine temp.

It's called luck because not everyone will benefited from it. VSC or SC are more or less same. I don't know why you want to accuse someone of fanboyism when it's apparent I'm merely stating facts. I still remember when Seb won Australian GP 2018 while Lewis was leading.

IIRC, I was critical of vsc back then but most of you guys were enjoying it because Ferrari outsmart Mercedes. Why the 180 degree u-turn now?

Or you could say CL lose his cool. It's apparent he is raging inside his cockpit. Just like Singapore, you can see the difference in his driving. The same thing happened with Seb in Monza where he felt CL owed him a 'tow'.

Unfortunately Ferrari isn't as clear cut as Mercedes, when it comes to team order. How many times has VB sacrificed himself for Lewis? I lost count. Even though Mercedes still sucks with strategy calls most of the time, they are very clear about which driver they are backing.

I don't think it's about top speed. Lewis was able to close up to CL in Monza despite repeatedly saying Ferrari is fast on straight. You can see how CL pull away out of parabolica and then Lewis only managed to see his exhaust at the end of the straight with DRS.

Overall a boring race if not for the chaos and retirements. Mercedes is like a rocket. I thought Honda and Ferrari finally got their engine right but it seems like Mercedes upped their game this season. If you take Mercedes out, F1 is what it should looks like.

Nothing beat Australia... What year was it when Alonso gets 6th in a Minardi.

They should make it rally like by running in reverse. Make it 4 days, FP and qually for clockwise running on day 1, race in day2. FP and qually for anti clockwise running on day3, race on day 4.

Just 3 races in and already curses are flying... LOL

Why does the track looks like its gonna be boring... there will be only overtaking on the straight. They should choose wider track with more long straight.

I think modern circuits design have to be safe thus they always end up with banking which helps with grip. Whereas older circuits tend to rely more on aero and mechanical grip with their flat surface during cornering.

This will be a strange race to remember. I think we also had a similar race before where everyone tires were delaminating but couldn't recall which race was that.

Pirelli was so fast in covering their failed tires...
