Back in Schumi days, he had a couple of close calls. It was even explained back then that the left/right tyre width (depending where the pit was) had to fully crossed the line to be deem illegal. If still on it, it was borderline okay.

So why are Ferrari complaining?

Who dare to initiate it though? Back then Monaco was the land where F1 arrived to please or court their sponsors. Is it still the same case today?

SP is definitely doing very well recently. I'm also surprised how well he adjusted to the car. MV seems like LH, didnt like current gen car as much.

MV is probably better in the race but SP definitely provided the thrill recently.

I thought race starts at 9pm... only saw the last 10 laps. I think I didnt missed anything other than ferrari PU going off like NASA rockets.

I think Mercedes version works to a certain extent. If the surface is smooth like butter aka Barcelona, it works like charm. Just like in their wind tunnel, smooth and not bumpy, it works.

I think they just need to rework their approach. Their car is still low rake which I think make the matter worse. All the other cars already moved on to high rake last year and I think this factor alone is the culprit for their extreme porpoising. Instead of rethinking a new formula to make it work, they focus solely on limiting the porpoising through stiffer suspension. Yes, they reduced the porpoising but car become very stiff and too low. Even riding curb could cause harm to their floor.

They can get a couple new engine and then turn the damn thing up. Still can salvage 2nd or 3rd depending on circuit.

No need. I think Lewis was annoyed by Max's over aggressive driving last year that forced him not to yield into Copse. If Max was driving like 2022, I don't think they will race like that.

I mean when Mercedes having fun with party mode, then FIA came and took it away with standardised ecu. They get DAS but then it got banned. If majority of the field is suffering from porpoising, then FIA might as well standardised a working floor that wont porpoise.
