A lot of penalties, the drivers(especially LH44) also helping out the steward by telling them who exceeded track limits.

Maybe need to change SC to Ferrari instead of Merc/AM. If anything else, they'll be leading laps.

Race was pretty boring up to the safety car, nice show as things get exciting as it went along. Nice teamwork for Carlando.

Btw, I thought LH left the track while battling with Perez if I am not mistaken. No updates on that?

Heard got Mercedes civil war?

Russell wanted to do the "Sainz" but Hamilton thinks they will loose both places and wants to switch. I think Russell's plan would've worked. Instead of maximizing points for the team, Ferrari gained valuable team points.

Now I know the recipe to make a boring race interesting:

PIT 4 TIMES!
*
The days of tyre change and refuelling(although dangerous) was interesting. Also when there were more than 1 tyre manufacturer in the championship. Come to think about it, having 2 manufacturers again would be nice but this time they should be randomly allocated to 5 teams per manufacturer and maybe switch midseason.

LH old liao. Making more bad decisions.
Would have hear Crofty iconic quote if LH were to manage to pass GR.  laugh.gif  "Through goes Hamilton"

He's over-rated and over-valued at this point of his career.

Hahaha... instead of OLD, I would say LH44 isnt the same after he got covid previously. Ever since he came back from covid, I felt like he looked exhausted everytime he came out of the car after races. Not sure the bouncing took its toll on his body or what, but if you look at CL/MV/GR/CS/SP, they dont look breathless. Just look at FA... he's quick over 1 lap for sure, but if you look at his race pace, not that amazing really. Often times, he looking to keep others behind rather than increasing the gap to others.

Yes, LH made the error but Mercedes should have intercepted even before the race if they want to disturb MV pace, like other youtubers have pointed out. If they want to attack MV, definitely LH on the soft has the better chance to disrupt the race by overtaking MV during the first 2 laps and back him into GR. Instead, GR moved over to cover LH which is also puzzling since GR should know all damn well LH is basically sitting duck when the soft is gone in 3 laps based on the sprint race result.
*
I don't think he can use covid as an excuse, there were 6-7 other drivers who also got covid and they are doing fine.

Haha

There goes LH chances

2020 is really his last hurrah

Can even put 2021 is his real last hurrah

Same trajectory like Schumacher once lost forever lost

Fernando can vouch 4 that hahahaha
*
I agree. I think Fernando has even more juice left in him despite being much older.

Didn't even bother to set the alarm. Max was booed, LH and Leclerc disqualified.

What do you guys think about the Las Vegas GP in terms of racing?

I think the track does provides a few action and entertainment. Lots of overtaking and collision. Of course, the night race in the US means we can enjoy it here in the afternoon!
*
Track layout seems way better than Singapore, a lot of kinks to work out in terms of organizing the race. I like the timing though.

This season I think I watched 2 or 3 races only, the same as Schumacher and Vettel total domination year...

Even Mercedes's domination year I'm still quite frequent watching due to Rosberg versus Hamilton Civil War
*
I just turn on and watch it in the background. Felt like can't wait for the season to be over. I hope next year to be a lot better. I want to see at least 5 different winners in a season.

I don't know about you guys but the best moment this season for me was when Brawn the Impossible Formula 1 story came out. Pretty good job for Keanu Reeves as he managed to get most of everyone in the show. He didn't hold back on the expletives either! Made me want to watch back the 2009 season.

About time they got rid of that shitty catalunya. Just bomb that circuit of the face of the earth

I think the circuit is more suited to MotoGP. Good news for MotoGP though, gone will be the hard braking bumps left by F1 cars.

Signing champions didn't work for Ferrari, signing new guys didn't work either. They need another Kimi Raikonnen.

Just finished compiling my 2024 race schedule and found 7 out of the 24 races starts at midnight and above. Been missing more and more races past few years.

Currently the most talked about drama is in red bull.

Jos vestapen asking horner to be sack while fia president asking max to publicly support horner.

Poor max getting stuck in the middle with all of this. Who he's support?

He is expecting a call from Toto Wolf laugh.gif

LH44 should have been penalised for first lap incident. Everyone agrees except the stewards.
