The stewards should’ve done something, because it does set a bad precedent. I don’t like it, max should’ve been cleaner. I can understand why Max did that, he is ahead on the track and in the points, if they crash, he stands to gain if they both DNF. The pressure will be on Hamilton to chase for the wins and Max only has to sit back and make sure he is fast enough to finish second. Lewis is the defending champion, chasing history and all that. Max has nothing to lose.

What a bullshit track Given a blank sheeet of paper and they made Monaco and Monza bastard and left out the runoff. The track is too narrow and dangerous. I’m surprised they didn’t finish lapping under a safety car.

As Jolyon said, Max will race and crash if need be because he can afford to crash and Lewis will try avoid crashing because he can’t afford to DNF. It might end up like Schumacher vs Villeneueve in 97.

QUOTE(8sg9ft @ Dec 7 2021, 01:33 PM) It would be so fun if both of them touch each other into a spin at the start, forced to pit and fall to the back of the grid and both go all out to finish in the points to claim the title. Hahah Their teammates have big roles to play this weekend. Incoming special bonus if manage to do what they supposed to. Lol Team mates should just stay the fuck out of the way

Me on unifi tv so pissed that Disney killed fox sports and the subsequent sports channels are just so shit. So no chance to watch live, only can catch the highlights on YouTube.

Ya lo Does Hamiltoon know how to race anymore? Perez defend hard but fair, he said dangerous driving. Maybe he should retire? He has nothing left to prove anyways.

QUOTE(8sg9ft @ Dec 13 2021, 12:23 PM) In the heat of the moment, he will say this kind of things la. Even MV would have said the same if VB did it to him. Anyway, felt Toto went over the line when he told Masi not to turn the VSC into an SC earlier in the race. That was not right. But for the part when they let lapped cars overtake SC at the end, i can understand Toto’s frustration/anger. Lol Ya lo Then Race director let the lapped cars rejoin the back of the train and clear the path for Max. Karma really

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Dec 13 2021, 12:31 PM) The problem is that only certain car are allowed to unlapped by being lapped under safety car...which is weird. Agree But those other cars didn’t figure in a title fight

I think they may need to drop the wheel covers to get some additional cooling. Otherwise a few of the cars will retire with flaming brakes. Haha like mclaren and Williams. Make or break season for Riciardo

QUOTE(WeVo_WeVo @ Sep 6 2022, 08:50 PM) The plan was to keep both of them out but Mercedes as they are running P1 and P2 with the hope of George holding up Max at the restart for Lewis to pull away and get his medium up to temp. During the last few laps, Lewis's lap time was just 0.5s slower than the soft tires runner at the front. But Mercedes was not assertive enough to tell GR to stay out but to let him pit for soft. This would have been a better strategy for both of them but just pitting GR exposed Lewis to Max, GR and Charles. It is also why Lewis was so pissed off after he saw George go for soft when they go through the pitlane. Lol It is insanity to repeat the same action and expect a different result. Hamilton got Abu Dhabied again. Russell was smart enough to see the writing on the wall. The win was no longer on when the safety car came out and Max took fresh and faster tyres. The Red Bull was the fastest car of the weekend unlike in Abu Dhabi. Now much how cars you stack in front of him, no stopping him.

QUOTE(voscar @ Sep 11 2022, 11:42 PM) Someone pointed the differences between Red Bull Verstappen and Mercedes Lewis when come to safety car handling: Mercedes and Lewis too concerned on the leading position, fear of unable to overtake later, so continue without going for pitstop. Happened twice and still same decision... Red Bull and Max, not giving a damn on the leading position, just come in for pitstop, in Max we trust he'll overtake back anyone, year 2021 and year 2022 also same decision... Perhaps Red Bull starting 2021 is already a dominant car while Mercedes and Ferrari just hanging around trying hard for luck. Alonso was right, Hamilton only knows how to drive at the front. Drive not race.

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Sep 14 2022, 12:27 AM) You'll never get them both in the same car, who bother to scratch your head over it? Besides there's just too many factors affecting the outcome of a race which ultimately decided a championship. I don't really want to compare them like that. Drivers are not robots, their performance are affected by other factors like age, mentality and fitness. Given how Lewis has struggled with W13 in the beginning of the season, it's hard to say how much was it down to car and how much was it down to his age (coping with the porpoising). You probably could say GR would have beaten Max in the same car given the race outcome that he achieved with the broken W13 early in the season. Nothing is certain until you get them in the same car and race it out. Other than that, it's merely pot calling kettle black and vice versa. GR drove the W11 in 2020 as stand in for lulu and came within an engine failure of winning a Grand Prix first time out. Shows you how easy the car was to drive even for someone not usually in the team.
