good luck.. and be patience. Spend more time on the street and think what u want to shoot and what u want the picture to be like.. then u'll be thinking about composition automatically...

got quite a few difference
- chef decide ingredients and has his own time to create a dish and decorate it. photographers on the other hand depend on what you're shooting. some photography, you have all the time in your hands to compose. some you have to plan WHEN to be around (like waking up 6am to go to a nearby park) then there's luck issue (reach the park, no sunlight. rain, clouds) then for stuff like event photography, you need to anticipate possible upcoming events blablablabla |

niiiiiiccceee. i like the sunset shots. i like the colors of the moment.
no samples that were done using portrait ah? cos if you done it in portrait, you could even capture from the beauty of the sky down to the wonder of the waves. as for the street shots, i'm glad to see you're trying out something (that i've not yet tried myself) and you're getting there. the first street shot is blur, i suppose you're hand-holding it. use a tripod because your shutter speed is slower at this point. and when using tripod, sometimes it could wobble shake too when you press the shoot button and release. so what i usually do is use a timer, so i focus then shoot. then leave it there and hold still the tripod if i have too. also be careful of other light sources and play around with the white-balance setting to see if you can achieve better result. good job!!! |
