NEXT STOP: BANGKOK!

FYI the USTC is one of the most challenging photography events i ever participated, apart of playing night shots with a DSLR, and of coz the dancing queens event which really i pushed my cam to the max.

Apart of my shutter speed not enough my focusing is also suffered as well. Due to these weakness proves an justification that my my D40 has reached its limitations and i may need a mid range DSLR in the future.

Still i enjoy my photography session. Thanks for ur views and comments and in few weeks time i shall post again my pics from bangkok!

USTC at bangkok my footlah Trav's UTSC coverage has ended last nite. But seriously during the dancing queen my camera has reached its limitation which i explained earlier on.

Still i continue to use and learn from my current cam until someone throw a D2x to me

Yaloh, make our bro shinchan more happy, BUY MORE NIKON products! (speaking on that, i wonder is shinchan is a Nikon promoter at disguise?)

Thanks for ur advise, but i am not the type of photographer who taking events/dancing/fashion shows as my main photography objects.

I wanted to be the type of photographer who wants to tell a story by taking shots which affected my emotions or dramatic shots. Now i do enjoy going to events to take potraits of cute/pretty promoters Still i priority is to take scenery and portraits, and i happy my D40 will do fine for the next few years.

Still its good to know what my D40 can do and what it could not do. Ultimately i hope to learn its strengths so i can achieve what i wanted to do.

In the near future i will go for a 50mm portrait lens, then may consider a zoom lens or better lens. Upgrading to a better DSLR will take some years to go by, unless if someone throw me a D2x to me

hehe as i say, next installment: BANGKOK! n maybe next update is July/aug during the next PC Fair.

Well the latest i can post my bangkok pics is by next late weekdayslah, coz i be in bangkok from this sat to next wed. Hope i can take more scenery and environment/dramatic shots of life in bangkok, rather than taking pics of my friends posing around in bangkok

Guys i just back from an amazing trip in Bangkok! For sure i will upload some of the pics taken from my 5 day adventures from bangkok, Thailand.

Well it was cloudy with rain during the boat ride. Somehow i love the black and white feeling on that pic, gives me some little dramatic feeling like riding a boat on asian rivers.

VOL 1: Chatuchak weekend market

To describe chatuchak, or better know as JJ to the locals, is simply amazing. The biggest market in the world (according to wikipedia) is around 5-10 size of petaling street. It is splitted into various section, from selling clothings, accessories, pets, home, furniture, art and many more.

I afraid to say i will need to halt my coverage from Bangkok for temp basis.

In Conjunction with Metropolitan College's auto fiesta v3, i went though chick sniping for a while from 6pm - 8pm. From all my takes almost 95% are chick related images as i found out the autoshow is kinda, lame, well cant expect from such small scale. Here some of my takings from the event, enjoy!

My coverage for the auto fiesta will split to 2 vols.

Dont blame me, blame my camera.

Anyway during the catwalk i messed the settings again as i put too high Appeture and not enough speed. That why the images were alittle blur and dark even though ISO set to 800.

That minachi is hot what!!!

Well i afraid that is the fact. The contestants which i posted here is still okay and acceptable to me, as they just college students. I believe one of the promoters, natalie must have mesmerized u.
