U talking about trade in value?

See mudah cheapest is RM54,500. By the time ++ transfer fee, runner, insurance, road tax, puspakom, jpj, maybe can expect around RM60k.

That's way too low lol. As seen on mudah, TS can demand way higher, at least RM55k.

I've bought some cars on mudah, even through dealers. The final price don't stray far, though I bought among the cheapest advertised.

U can possibly nego, but if you're already looking at the cheapest car in mudah, u can't get much discount anymore. See city E, cheapest advertised is RM55k. U think can nego down to RM30k when everyone else advertise higher? Get real, who so kind to give u that?

Unless got special circumstance, maybe TS super desperate to sell, then offer way below market value, janji can sell ASAP.

Trade in? Trade in of course lower, they buy from u rm45k, sell outside rm55k, that's their margin. Fair enough la, they also gotta pay rent, staff, runner etc.

Don't want get 1.5 turbo? Sked turbocor?

Ok. So u got example of anyone just bought City E 2014 for RM30k nett?

I don't think u get what I'm saying, and you've never bought used car.

I'm already talking about the cheapest advertised City E spec (for this gen, not the previous gen), RM55k. Others are advertising higher, let's say this one that advertise RM59k :

http://www.mudah.my/2014+Honda+City+1+5L+A+E-57824339.htm

Chances of u can nego is the one who advertise RM59k, tell him u can buy for rm55k from another guy.

But if u go look at rm55k? He can counter "sudah murah bang, tengok lain jual rm59k." At best maybe he can absorb a few thousand, which is why I say "not stray far" from advertised rate. Push some more, he'll ask u go fly kite. It's a Honda city, u don't want, got many others want. It's not like pujot, VW, give free also many don't want.

You are going too far, what i try to said is you cant cite the price from MUDAH as a std reference price only unsure.gif

For now, yes, a City E 2014 of this gen goes for rm55k. Should TS wanna sell his car himself, this is a good price to start.

But he said he wanna trade in, and they offered him rm45k. That RM10k loss is their margin, though it's not bad considering they help save TS the hassles of finding buyer, secure cash upfront, paperworks etc.

Obviously u need to do more research and comparison to arrive at what u feel is the market value, though from my experience, mudah's cheapest is usually lower than carlist's, oto.my's, motortrader's cheapest. So mudah is a good place to start, then expect few k variance as room for nego or addition due to transfer cost. If you're checking out those advertise much higher than lowest price, of course u can have stronger bargaining power cuz "someone else sell rm XX k cheaper". Though it is still possible to counter if say their car is perfect, all service record on time, no scratch, no seat koyak etc.

Then of course u occasionally see some advertised stupidly low eg rm5k, that's obviously not real price, either downpayment, typo, sambung bayar or scam. Not to say rm55k is not scam, hence it's wise to see and test drive first to confirm how legit the ad is.

At this point in time, rm55k represents best value. Who knows, in 1 hour's time, someone desperate advertise wanna let go for rm50k, then the cheapest price changes again. Or your uncle wanna let go his, because you're his close relative, he can let go for way below market value, so yea it changes again. But this is special because of your relationship with your uncle, not representing market value.

civic turbo xboleh idle lama2, ngadap jem lama2 dengan selalu bawak laju2 mcm syaitan. nanti service oil dia jatuh cepat gila. default service minder 10k km.dia akan adjust ikut 3 faktor atas tue. ada yg 7k km da kena service 😂😂😂

civic 1.8 lgi senang.xyah pning2.service minder pun xda.service tetap setiap 10k km.

only for honda engine with turbo. Other car manufacturer, I dunno what service method they adopt.

civic 1.5 really shiok. I had test drive it and power really good. Feel fast and at the same time feel safe. Not a typical honda.
