For my other cars I avoid Shell, it's the last choice. There was once my Toyota had to do overhaul after going into Shell station. I didnt bother to claim from the station. Shell ppl told me it happens regularly with their product.

you must be heavily influenced by the lady that promoting RASLOCK in FB  tongue.gif

Yes! It is heavy and leather-bound, the video demo is very convincing. After this i will need to think about what other locks to fit in or GPS tracking.

I plan to book tomorrow. 7 or 9 years, brothers? I need recommendation. Wisely.

I read somewhere, some finance article, that stated your car loan should be 5 years. Otherwise, it might be out of your budget.

I have just booked, inside the official showroom, Civic 1.8S, salesperson gave me a rebate / discount, RM4,000.00. Zero body kit...

Is it a nice / quite okay-ish deal, or I am being f**kin scammed?

Need opinion, please. Thank you, brothers here.

Owh! And he mentioned, interest rate is 2.30, 7 years.
*
Sounds like a good deal... if u feel scammed you should walk out of the shop immediately.

Coating, film, all same.. i did coating for my other car recently, other ppl whack with their car door, also paint broken, dented. someone said before, it's only to make your car look nice and shiny longer with less effort. doesnt stop all the little dents and bangs. That being said, i will try 10H coating and see if it's better

Does the coating satisfied for you? Will check it out👍

it's nice to see rain drip away, and the bird shit, easy to clean. However - after rain must wipe off because of the water spots, and washing must be regular, at least once a week.

I'm quite happy with coating - yes, after rain must wipe off, that's the hassle. Overall - shiny, and best thing is, the rims also stay clean, easy to wash off the dirt. i send to car wash every week, and the detailing shop will deal with the watermarks if you send there for washing.

hi mate, may I know which SC you went for the ac bubbling issue?

Went to SC 2nd time still they say is normal and won't try to do anything at all..  puke.gif

This is the problem when you have technicians who don't own cars themselves or don't put their heart and soul into their work and into customer satisfaction.

Or don't care - lazy la to settle the issue. This is normally cooling coil/compressor issue. My other Civic had this problem but now it's gone after service and change some aircon parts. since your aircon still working, they dont want to spend money to honour your warranty.

i've used my mechanic's car before and it doesn't even drive straight haha

I have a Toyota with 1 year warranty that gave zero issues for 10 years, only one absorber change, and that was it. i think Honda is maximising profit over reliability and quality here... so sad... the car is really so pretty... My darling...

wanna ask, is it worth doing coating for white car? coz it doesn't seems to help alot on the appearance, unless it's darker color car then shine-ness level really can blow ur mind
saw u got problem with gearbox on the 2nd day u got ur car... not scare later gearbox blown ahh? tongue.gif
*
That's why for now i'm keeping the revs low, around 3,000 only

And yes, my darker coloured car looks better with coating. White car, the effect, less, but looking forward to easier washes

you got guilt trip your SA or not? did they offer to compensate you something for your troubles?
mine also from the same showroom as yours. 2 months old now..
*
It was all pretty civil, of course i was annoyed but shit happens. And i have my old car to use (my trustworthy '98 Civic back when the marque meant quality and reliability?)
The SA called me every single day to update me so that was professional and top-notch customer service

But no i didnt ask for compensation, in hindsight i think insurance would have paid me daily for my inconvenience... Haiyaaaa
