QUOTE(nlik @ Jan 16 2021, 02:09 PM) a) put in D, Auto brake hold on, then just floor the accelerator pedal? b) put in D, left leg hold the brakes and right leg on the accelerator pedal to a certain RPM. Then let go brakes and dump accelerator pedal all the way down? c) same as b), but instead of 100% down the accel pedal, you gradually press down the accel pedal? d) secret launch control menu? e) some other launch from standstill method? Then, which is faster? launch in S or L mode ? Used it on my other Civic (AT not CVT) to great effect |

QUOTE(matrix88 @ Feb 8 2021, 12:15 AM) It's got insulating material. It will be way better than leaving exposed. I'm more concerned with the water marks and animal tracks, we've got bird shit and monkeys roaming around, plus the tree sap. Plus black looks so good and mysterious hehei'm waiting for it to get really hot, the cover might float up like a hot air balloon, that will be fun if it happens. |

QUOTE(lotter92 @ Feb 13 2021, 09:14 PM) OMG why did I even visualised it in my head. Haha. Thank you for the informative sharing! But mine is white, so I'm not sure if I will see any drastic changes after the coating. you are right - my white paint - did coating - visually about same. washing and cleaning a lot easier.my grey car - that makes the colour pop up, coating. liquid look. super. |

QUOTE(M_Shahrul @ Feb 18 2021, 10:52 AM) But thanks to @mcchin, @ericcc, I really appreciate your reply. Giving me an insight, for a nerd paranoid like me. just accept the fact that if your car is targeted, even if inside the home, it will be gone when u wake up. or they will do a home invasion to get your car keys.i read somewhere, standard cars are targeted more. so - go modify! loud exhaust, extreme bodykits, big wings, colourful stickers. |

Cons - car too fast - petrol goes fast! Always watching out for speed traps.

QUOTE(DragonK @ Feb 28 2021, 05:17 PM) I did 'diamond' coating at XG Detailing Sri Kembangan -not bad. Also did partial wrap (roof, spoiler, grille).IMO i prefer coating. The wrap process, had to go back do corrections, bubbles, etc. Maybe it's the shop i went to. |

QUOTE(DragonK @ Mar 2 2021, 11:52 PM) Hi guys, is there anyone done performance modification on their civic, mind sharing, i’m planning to mod mine but would like to know places and what are the choices, then maybe we can it first page too later Bring your credit card and car to some place like Pentagon or JC RacingLet us know how much fun your car is when it's more than 200hp me - i'm gonna do my exhaust soon. mainly it's to let the motorbikes know i'm next to them. some of them ride without looking out for other vehicles. My fave shop is in Puchong - GT Racing Exhaust Specialist. They do turbos too. This post has been edited by ericcc: Mar 3 2021, 09:26 AM |

QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Mar 3 2021, 09:36 AM) I'm not gonna spend too much. i'll consult with GT Exhaust first before deciding. i think for two mufflers - around RM1,000 ? Maybe more... i want the reasonably quiet ones. Maybe i'll just settle for one muffler only - must ask them for best suggestion. It really depends on what you want and your budget. Got money, can get those Valvetronic ones. Or the full set from downpipe to outlet, that will probably set you back more but it's plug and play. Remember - this is Malaysia - there is no such thing as cheap and good. Usually the cheaper mufflers, the material inside will burn out within one year, and your sound will change a little. QUOTE(mzack1104 @ Mar 19 2021, 10:10 AM) Hello All, There was a time I would change the battery the moment it hit 18 months irregardless of its status. Preventive maintenance is best.My car just even 1 year old last week.. kinda worry on the battery status.. last check at SC, off coz they say still good. as currently my wife mostly drive the car, so quite worry if suddenly battery kong.. do u guys think i should change although check still good? read everywhere AMARON is the best for FC.. Thanks.. So - if you have the feeling - follow it. Better safe than stuck in some dark dangerous car park somewhere without phone signal. neuromancerx liked this post

QUOTE(lee82gx @ Apr 13 2021, 01:48 PM) Hello everyone, i'd like to ask if there is any real problems with this car? I'm thinking of getting a TC-P for all the Honda sensing stuff. In the sense of after 5 years is there any reliability issues? 2nd day of ownership, i sent the car back for CVT issuesDo most of you remain service with Honda throughout this 5 years ? Is there a price list I can refer to for maintenance? first car ya? always keep in mind Murphy's Law and you wont be disappointed after 6 months i love the car. major setback? have to watch out for speed traps all the time (thank god for Waze) maintenance? reasonable. my last service was RM370. compared to my old car, the last bill being 4k hahaha just buy and enjoy, it's a lovely fast car. dont buy if u looking for good mileage, cost-saving, cheap. here we're talking about how many RPMs and CVT temp before it goes bust har har PoisonSoul liked this post
