Sales person suggested to take January 2019 despite lower rebates (maybe RM500), as opposed to September 2018 (RM3000) due to higher trade in value of 2019.
Does it really matter? I don’t plan to change car every 5 years |

I told him I don’t want the coating This post has been edited by Chiggah: Sep 1 2018, 05:39 PM |

Why Malaysia spec missing rain sensing wiper and front parking sensor ? I mean it’s not necessary but it’s a turn off whilst Thailand has it

Is anyone bothered by not having the foldable rear seat?
My old car has that feature but I don’t really use it often, if at all. Though it is nice to have it there in case I need to move long items or furniture |

Hoping to collect my TC next week and looking to do usual tint and changing bulb/led (not HID conversion). Question - if I want to change the low & high beam, do I need two pairs of bulb/leds ?
Tinting Lets say I have a budget of RM2k for the tint. I can possible go RM3k, but it's stretching it. What do most people go for here ? Just want to know my options. Can I get 3M Crystalline for around RM2.5k ? I have read the Llumar and Hamel are good tint options also. Bulb/LED Here are my options thus far and gathering bits and pieces from civicx forum too. Honestly not too sure of the differences between the Philips, but linking based on the number of reviews Philips Halogen Diamond Vision - http://a.co/d/029efPb Philips Crystal Vision - http://a.co/d/eZ7z4Y2 Philips X-treme Vision - http://a.co/d/3Sn67hi Precision LED - http://a.co/d/12bs9Zo TRS Morimoto 2Stroke (pricey) - https://www.theretrofitsource.com/h11-led-h...to-2stroke.html This post has been edited by Chiggah: Dec 14 2018, 02:50 AM |

Are most people using RON95 BHP Euro4 grade petrol here ?
Which mobile phone mount is best suited with the Civic ? Something rock solid stable. Came across this thread https://www.civicx.com/threads/cell-phone-h...unt.2218/page-9 |

What’s the best way to go about blacking out the chrome? Vinyl wrap or replace with different grill?

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jan 3 2019, 01:38 PM) Same here. Let me know if you find someone to do it, based in KLQuestion - do most people go for piano gloss black finish for the front and window trims, or matte black ? Our bumpers are matte right ? Si and R are piano black if im not mistaken |

Just thought I'd share my findings here. Probably going to pull the trigger on either of these LED sets soon. Getting great unbiased reviews.. The Nineo ones appear to be quite good also https://www.civicx.com/threads/nineo-led-he...s-w-pics.31733/
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077BT6M6Z/ref=cm...i_JFYlCbKG2N5SW https://www.bulbfacts.com/led-kits/reviews/...kit-review.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXEJVCIsCaA PM'd someone on CivicX forum regarding the Hikari's QUOTE Yeah installed them for low and high beam. I’m thrilled with the outcome. Haven’t had a single oncoming car flash me since installing them three weeks ago. Output is much better than stock halogen bulb and especially the high beams are imo super ! No problems during rain, although I must admit I didn’t really pay extra attention during rainy conditions but thinking about, since I haven’t been bothered by anything everything seems fine Unless downside imo would be the fans are a bit loud if you’re sensitive to noise ... however I got used to it after a couple of days ... you can hear them inside the car if the ignition is turned off. In the end - definitely worth the cost ! And you don’t need the flickering resistor if you’re replacing the low or high beams - only for the turn signals ... wish I had known that upfront. Could have saved me 20 This post has been edited by Chiggah: Jan 4 2019, 08:54 PM |
