Driver side marker and fog light bulb fused.

Any recommendation where to get or what model, for matching ones ?

I guess any T10 in amber/white will be fine for side marker, and H8 for fog light

Can get from Maya on LYN ?

Hey guys, expat here and planning to buy my first car this year.

How much does insurance add up to the price listed on the dealer's website?

I've read foreigners also need to pay some fee.

Currently looking at the price range of civic.

You can transfer your NCD from overseas. Though I am not sure if it is applicable to foreigners or not

I just returned to Malaysia after 19 years.

Paid RM3k insurance for the year, then will get refunded back upon processing documents.

Just checking if anyone has this light refracting issue on their rear windscreen tint ? Seems to be a fairly common issue. Though I just tinted my car yesterday only, so may take some time to cure. Photo below is from someone and looks pretty bad.

Quick Q - If my service A notification is coming up, says I have 1500km left, but my service date on the sticker says around July, I can do them both together right ? I drive around 800km per month

I don't necessarily have to do service A right now, correct ?

Does anyone get condensation on the outer windscreen ? Usually happens after rain but not every time. I read this is due to the humidity difference between inside and outside

ehh?

water condensates on any surface = surface is colder than the air it met

are you using the windscreen aircon a lot?

colling down the windscreen by means of the

user posted image

means when the malaysian humid air hit the car, the water condensates on the surface

if your not using that, then that could mean some aircon leakage under the dashboard
*
Windscreen aircon ? I just have the recirculate button turned on. No other buttons (heating windscreen etc)

I am going to get my first service today and will check with them.

So this is not normal ?

If the condensation is on the outside of the windscreen, it is because the car cabin (inside) is colder than the humid air (outside).

My inside temps are around 20-22 degrees. How about if I turn up the temperature in the car ? It does state in the manual under defrost section.

Wipers is another way, but I don't really want to do that everytime, since it condenses quite quickly.

if it keep getting water condensates near the bottom of the windscreen

I think there is a leak from the piping channelling cold air to the windscreen
making it ever so slightly colder than the air outside
*
Thanks. Sounds like an AC flap/valve couldn’t close completely on one side

SC acknowledge the issue. Hope they can fix it

Hi again

I took to SC and they admitted was a fault in the part. Repaired the following:

- Replaced front servo motor

- Replaced heater sub assembly

As today's weather was raining and humid, I noticed this condensation again. Turned on the front/rear demister and it seems to make the condensation worse.

This only happens on the front windscreen mainly. Rear was OK, but rear side, there is some slight condensation. Images attached

However, weird thing is, I did not have this yesterday even if it rained.

Any idea what is going on here ?

1st,
the condensation is on the outside or inside
and what temp you usually set?

if outside, sometimes environment plays a part

like situation where you have a hot weather then a sudden downpour
so the water vapour is more in the air, at a slightly higher temp

and when met with a colder temp, not necessary very cold temp, it will condensate back to water on the outside

front and rear demister is for when the condensation forms on the inside
situation where outside temp is colder than inside
so a blow of air to the mirror will take away the moisture

malaysia have have heated aircon so it wont heat up the mirror
*
Condensation outside. I set temp around 20-21 AC in car.

Just checked, at max AC fan, no cold air is directed from the vents to the windscreen

Perhaps this is normal ? Maybe nothing to be concerned. Just annoying safety hazard having to use wipers to clear

But mine was neither OFF nor ON and was still blowing cold air.

Does that mean cold air is leaking ?

If yes. I will get it checked out at SC
