You dump the oil filter too at 5k intervals?

I can't remember. Have not been to SC for a long time. I remember it was RM200 last i saw it. Not sure if it was after 15% discount or not.

My average service for a 4 liter fully synthetic 0w-20 last time with oil filter + drain bolt washer and include service labor was a little over RM200 last time. Never over RM250 unless need to change air filter or pollen filter.

I know for sure they markup heavily as the same 4 liter fully synthetic 0w-20 i can get for RM95 outside and the made in japan oil filter for RM25. Can skimp another RM5 off with a thai made oil filter. Same blue ones.

OK, i forgot about GST. Last time i still send to SC no GST.

My cacat calculation
Honda Genuine Oil = RM200 (assuming after 15% discount)
Honda Genuine Oil Filter = RM31
Drain Bolt Washer = RM5 (simply la)
1hour service labour x RM72 = RM72
Total (exclude GST) = RM308
Total (include GST) = RM326.48

Maybe you got other out of scope "special" service

You mentioned RM380 wor. RM60 difference can eat nasi lemak McD 4 times leh.

ok, as long as you happy paying for SC prices.

I will most probably stick with it until 1 year or 1.5 years and i will go back to doing it myself. If nothing goes wrong or i don't see anything gets claimed.

In fact, i will most probably run an oil change myself in the first 1,000km and 5,000km during the run in phase. Stick a magnetic drain bolt up there and see if it catches anything.

Dear all have any of you install the throttle controller for your civic and if done how was the performance

there is no need IMO. the car already has some sort of throttle controller.... the eco button  and if you want sports just disable eco.

I have type R bumper, no problem when going fast

The FK original bumper would most probably have a much better secured lip than aftermarket units. That is if you ask me.

I have an aftermarket front lip, but i know it is just being riveted on. Although mine has not fell off but i have scrapped it a lot of times on compressions and bumps and my car is still on stock ride height.

So if you are doing 200kph and you hit a very heavy compression, you are practically screwed. It could be that you hit it many times and you did not realise it and that final time you hit it, it just fell off.

Well, you can always ask how much it is outside like hingan, tiong nam, etc.. and compare the price.

It could have been one that was not fitted properly or it really fell off when you drove fast. Hard to anwswer.

I doubt it has real effective downforce that it can fell off. It looks to be help on securely but it also looks to be adhesive and clipped on.

Try to check the underside during car wash and see if there is scrapes or not. That would be tell tale sign that your front bottomed out and hit something during driving.

Once you hit it once too many times, it eventually cracks, breaks away or falls off completely. Hard to tell.

But can you stand without putting that piece back on? Don't look correct right?

Got feel any difference? Performance wise in theory it shouldn't have any since our engine is tune for Ron91-95, for lesser carbon build-up or smoother, ya likely. You always Ron100 now?
