1. Ride is okay for me. Still comfortable.
2. I went for black, hard to maintain but looks real good.
3. Yeah can be switched off. I just leave them on though.
4. Spoiler, not much. Under 500.
Black grill, not much either. Depends where you look. Some people wrap also.
Rims, not too sure. But I’ve seen people ask for quite a decent amount. You also have to consider the tyre. TCP comes with PS4, which are 500-600 per tyre.

Think the 10k difference for sensing alone with worth it. Peace of mind, ya know?
*
Yes i’m the proud owner of TCP with boot spoiler, 18” sexy rims & honda sensing all in. The 18” Michelin PS4 and honda sensing makes highway driving a breeze.

Just too bad none of the 2020 civic are fitted with sub woofer. US 2020 civic touring model comes w sub woofer built it.

With savings of almost 5000, now it’s the time to get TCP.

just now was driving to town (about 30 mins journey), get caught up in heavy rain and experiencing slow moving traffic. this is the first time i feel so good about slow moving traffic. I just turn on adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist, honda sensing will just keep a distance, follow the slow moving traffic and navigate the steering. now traffic jam no longer bothers me, im simply a happy man biggrin.gif

Does heavy rain impairs Sensing abilities? if not even a little, then bravo Honda engineers notworthy.gif

I have not noticed any impaired sensing. but lane keep assist seems not able to “see” the lane properly and i have to steer the wheel. properly it’s due to rain water blurring the lane line.

For honda sensing Stop and Go info;

When the preceding detected vehicle slows to a stop, ACC can stop the Civic automatically.

To resume operation, the driver just needs to push the cruise-control toggle switch toward RES/+ or press the accelerator, and the Civic will resume moving up to the ACC system’s prior set speed.

ACC will stop the car but will not automatically resume if car ahead moves.

Question on Tyre Pressure alert. My is 2020 TCP which when i read from the user manual, it stated there is TMPS for civic. And showing how to cancel and initialise the alert. But going thru the vehicle settings, i couldn’t find the setting menu for TPMS. So there is no TPMS feature in our civic ?

Where did you installed at? Headlight or windscreen?

Yup outside windscreen. Dont worry it will work for both headlamp or windscreen. Personally i prefer to install at windscreen.

Based on my civic, the oil life max allow me to travel 7000km or less than that. (It is counting even if your car is idle, traffic jam) So when 7k km i go service i will service together with 10k km as i don't want make two trip just for 1 service.
So eventually all will just follow your oil monitoring system.

There is only one or two times i go back purely change oil due to the gap is getting bigger, and then the other mileage service which don't necessary change oil but i change together. So now car is 58k km and just did 60k km service.

Not sure if this is what you try to figure it out, it is hard to explain but hope you will get what i mean hahaha

just tested drive tcp today and now am torn whether to go TCP or TC

the honda sensing tech seem to be useful if you drive more on highway or long journey.. but if city drive seem like no that useful as we will caught in the jam constantly...

any sifu here can give some thought on the honda sensing tech?
*
Honda sensing will also work in traffic jam with slow speed follow. I turn it on at traffic jam and it works like a charm, auto follow car in front. Lane keep assist won’t work at low speed though, only activated if speed is more than 73kmph

Up to personal preference  biggrin.gif . 18inch is definitely more expensive and heavier. Some say Subwoofer adds no big diff. and dual zone is not really a necessity, I myself nv actually used it before.

The only big point to get tcp would be the Honda Sensing.

there is no sub woofer for TCP model. US civic touring model does have it but not malaysia model.

Finally installed! Feel good and secure now. Thx for recommending this. It provides real time monitoring of the tyre pressure. Can see air pressure fluctuate from time to time. Very happy w this purchase!
