i test drive civic TCP last week. for me the stability on 18” is really good, torque and acceleration is very good despite the traction on the 18”. the only down side is, i can hear apparent road noise. I won’t say it noisy, but obviously it’s not whispering quiet, considering the car is brand new.

wow TCP just in time!!!

it really depends on your luck. my previous toyota wish 2nd gen recond unit from japan, it’s dashboard will have endless squeaking sound every time i have to hit it hard and it will go away for few mins, and the car is made in japan. on the contrary my previous mazda 2 has 0 dashboard noise but never ending under carriage sound when making a turn. i think it depends on your luck.

i think european cars are better in terms of NVH

how about the new FL civic ? not advisable to use shell 95 or 97 at all ? only use petronas 95 ?

any special promo for civic ? officially from honda website civic 2020 has no promo.

Been driving my FL TCP for few days, very happy with the performance, infotainment system especially i can use apple car play now. However the audio system sounded a bit shallow and lack of bass, though i have set the bass level to max. is there other settings i can tune to make the bass deeper ? thx!

Yea agree, was on highway at 110km/h with no significant wind noise, very quiet engine but can hear a bit of tyre noise, rather acceptable noise level. Probably due to the 18" but obviously Michelin PS4 is already the best performance & comfort tyre all in one. Zero complain so far and very happy

hmn, my TCP doesnt seems to have Nav in the main menu wo... I'm using Waze in CarPlay, so far very happy.

oic. but they still give us the sat nav user guide... no worries la, waze is far better, all good

Overall NVH is good for me. Can hear a bit of tyre noise at highway 110kmph. No obvious wind noise or other noise, it is a lot quieter compare to my Honda City 2017.

how much is Michelin Pilot Sport 4? Is there any other cheaper tyres but equivalent quality as PS4?

I will turn on LKAS, ACC whenever I go on highway. So far it is working very very well, especially if car ahead slow down at the highway. The only time when speed reduced sharply was a car suddenly cut into my lane. For me it is a essential feature to have. Also loving LKAS as it is auto cruising now on the highway.
