Makes sense, but changing oil filter at mere 7000km is like so extreme So you reckon changing it every time you change new engine oil/service your car ?

On the old FD2, we used to change the engine oil (mineral/semi/fully) every 5,000KM including the oil filter. When the FB came out, engine oil & oil filter was changed every 10,000KM.

Recently, even the new Hybrid Honda City's oil filter is only required to be changed every 20,000km. So I guess, we don't need to change the oil filter that frequent anymore. I read somewhere that oil filters generally have a long lifespan, and the longer it's used, the more efficient it becomes.

Too long, and it'll be clogged though, so changing every 20,000km (Maintenance B ONLY) is a must, but any more frequent (Maintenance A & B), is simply a waste of money...

I don't see why, it's not like telling other u got GPS installed will invite others to try to steal your car???

If thieves know what security system you installed, it’s a step thieves need to do to disable and run away with the car.

If nobody knows you install any additional security system, thieves won’t try to disable it and just run away with the car. You can still track it.

Hence, only idiots tell people what additional security systems they performed on the car... anyway, anyone wants to tell what security systems they deployed other than brake lock

i'm driving city 2016 and confirm no jerking even on the low speed..the cvt is smooth..

I have both the City and Civic, didn't notice the low speed jerk as of now though. Is it the econ mode?

If u previously u owned a car with absolute zero jerk, smooth and super responsive gearbox before, and then you jump to city, you will definitely feel it. Unless the best fault car is city then u can't compare or experience what is call jerky gearbox

The only other CVT I've driven long enough to comment would be the old Teana with 2.5L engine... that one can feel slow speed it doesn't behave that smooth, probably the CVT is changing the ratio too often. But the City one was definitely better.

Oh, I remember trying out the Nissan Sylphy test drive, that CVT is horrible ._. not smooth even above 60km/h, it can't make up its mind on which ratio to use LOL.

No idea, since mine is working fine so don't wanna "fix it"

Only issue I noticed now is... whenever I drive the car in the morning... my steering wheel got like plastic noise ngek ngek for a while.

Nope, only thing it sounds like coming from inside the steering wheel.
