Just wonder is this extra usage base service reminder really necessary? read through some who mention that the reminder will trigger before hitting the other service mileage, so meaning some owners have to send the car in twice for servicing over a short period of time.

There are somethings like an air filter or aircond filter that seriously could not take anything more than 15 minutes right? So, they charge 1 unit labor or if you do an oil change together you get charged 1 unit of labor as well?

I remember when i still service with SC last time. I had a couple of free service labor and i opted to change ATF earlier during the run-in period. They did not charge me extra for it even though it was not part of the planned service interval.

Which leads back to the question of service labor units at the end of the day.

For example, if for any reasons at the 6 month interval service. I do not change the oil because it hasn't reached according to service minder. I get charged RM60++ just for an air filter inspection?
