One possible reason it didn’t fully open is because they didn’t want the boot to hit something especially when you are unaware something is above when opening the boot from inside the car.

some people might park below places with low ceiling or trees .

You can get the Boot Spring

I tried this similar product. It doesn't work and worse of all the hole where you hook, the metal edge will bend due to tension. I also tried the gas struts one, still doesn't pop fully open, but if use your hand to raise a bit, then it will fully open.
If anyone else has a better solution i would be highly interested in it.

Is it possible your boot needs a bigger spring or gas struts?

If the boot have spoiler installed on it, it will be heavier too.
*
Maybe. I am using the standard pre-FL spoiler from Honda.

Hi, got anyone using "trapo classic plus" mats? is it worth the extra RM40 over the trapo classic?

whats the difference between the plus and without plus?

From their facebook post, seems to be another layer of hard plastic for extra durability. Not sure worth it or just some marketing gimmick.

I found in shopee, seems like same design type, clip on the door frame one, no 3M sticker.

This link here bro

Shopee

It has to be the B type door seal. Any other type, I think it'll be too thick and will cause problems when closing the door and might potentially damage your car rubber
*
I am also interested in trying this if it can cut some of wind noise during high speed. How many meter did you buy for all 4 doors?

1. No comment there, good old manual here. Best is that there is a speed selector like my Sunny 130y from way back 1992 laugh.gif
2. Yeah, that's why I use soft99 glaco zero to prevent water droplets sticking to it
3. And 4. Honda LKAS is not known to be the best, some other car manufacturer will have system to jerk back to the lane after near the line edge. A better system is Lane Centering assist where actively center the car at the middle of the lane (heard hyundai have good LCS). Also all these systems need to have the sensor be absolutely clean to function at its best
5. Yup, missed the lumbar support in the seat. Even my Sunny 130y have that simple function. Seems like certain region of civics have lumbar support seats
Yeah
The center console plastic is hard plastics
Tried to source some keyboard wrist support to do mod to add some soft soft feel to that area
But got lazy, maybe the next mod it that
*
Oh, didnt know we could use soft99 glaco zero on reverse cam. Won't damage the camera?

Anyone installed rear dashcam like the A800 + RC06?
What is the recommended way to route the wires from back to front?
*
I recently upgrade to this A800+RC06 rear cam. I route follow top liner, just follow from front->door edge->back, easy peasy. tongue.gif
Spend more time positioning the dashcam than routing the cable sweat.gif

Nice, good to know it's easy peasy, hahaha.
BTW you route at driver or passenger side?
*
I route at front passender side, as my dashcam i put above the rear mirror left side.
Place it at the 'dotted sticker' there, only camera lense showing below it to try to hide the dashcam as much as possible.
After that i just remove the door rubber seal and tuck the cable into the lining all the way to the back.
Rear cam i stick close to the top of the lining, got 1 spot no the wire element block the view.

Since you're using AA, did you experience issue in getting the GPS signal locked?
*
Nope, no issue in getting GPS signal. Only used to have issue with GPS with Waze, but that's because my phone use to be in the compartment under the HU.

Yea, I had the same problem, the tab on that trim piece broken and the bottom grill drop down. I have checked with Honda, and you apparently can't buy just that trim piece from them, you have the get the whole bumper which will cost you RM1.7k. He show me the parts breakdown, apparently it comes in a set.....

I ended up using some zip-ties, not perfect, but at least not so obvious anymore. laugh.gif
