QUOTE(ace4828 @ Jan 30 2019, 04:31 PM) I am so stunned when this happen. But later when I check, the car is already in Kempas, Johor. and how is the insurance claim for your loss? When i shared this information to the police, he mentioned that normally for this case, the car will be loaded into container and shipped to other countries like Sri Lanka or Indo. I heard from other civic owner as well that the car theft are all targeting new CIVIC WITHOUT ANY MODIFICATION. which i think its easier to sell off to new buyers in other countries. I missed out on the extra protection part. I didnt have enough time to install steering lock, or pedal lock. did you get your insurance from HIP? if yes, is it straight forward? |

if i replace those stock halogen bulbs to LEDs on pre-facelift TC (signal front and rear, brake, reverse), will it cause any harm to the socket or circuit?

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jul 28 2020, 12:19 PM) Anyone bought from Hingan before? What's the price like? Is it very close to SC price or significantly cheaper? I think SC charges 500+ for either front or back, not both. I did some purchases from them. To me, the prices are reasonable - I did not survey other Honda stockists, though.I usually find out the part numbers, contact them for pricing and availability. Then drop by their shop. |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jul 29 2020, 08:44 AM) I supposed?I replaced my front bumper - bought from Hingan around RM4xx (without paint, can't remember the exact price), brought to a shop for paint and installation for RM300. Total RM7xx. End to end process, takes < 24 hours Not sure if I can get that price and turn around time from SC for replacing a front bumper. Also recently replaced the wiper rubber - 1 pair cost RM72. SC may charge higher. Only thing is the time and effort you have to put in, like DIY. QUOTE(cedyy @ Jul 29 2020, 10:07 AM) I asked this question during my last service visit to SC. Their only concern is that the brake pad may not be suitable for use and will damage the brake disc. I asked, even if it's original Honda brake pad? They did not provide me with a definite answer. So, I would say - do it at your own risk? This post has been edited by vintys23: Jul 29 2020, 10:10 AM |

QUOTE(mzack1104 @ Jul 29 2020, 04:33 PM) Same with me bro also looking for spoiler, current still think the RS (current on 1.5TCP) is the nicest and minimalist. You can get the RS spoiler, but tell the shop not to drill holes. Hence, you won't get the LED brake light to function.Aftermarket looks like more taller compare to the original from factory. But still prefer stick with double side tape only rather than need to drill the rear hood. So, until now haven't found The adhesive from 3M tape along with the primer should hold the spoiler firmly. I'm still considering the SI though... 2 years and counting hahaha This post has been edited by vintys23: Jul 29 2020, 04:40 PM |

QUOTE(ocyrus @ Aug 3 2020, 12:28 PM) So sorry sifu, didn't mean to offend. Could've worded it differently in hindsight I guess I usually get around 8,500km - a week plus after changing engine oil.So, how frequent do you think the oil change would be for city driving? It also depends how hard you floor the pedal each time you drive No right or wrong, just follow the car's service minder. And, enjoy the ride! |

QUOTE(clature @ Aug 6 2020, 02:54 PM) To those who were asking about polishing and coating ... Just want to share this product that I've been using for the past few months. Spray and rinse?» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Meguair's Hybrid Ceramic Wax. Gotta say, it's pretty good. Around RM80-100 per bottle » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The water clumps and beads as in the pictures above. And when you drive, the water just flows off. Makes washing and cleaning the car much easier. And it doesn't burn a hole in your wallet. Application is also really easy. Just spray, rinse and wipe off. I thought it's spray > wipe > rinse > wipe This post has been edited by vintys23: Aug 6 2020, 03:12 PM |

QUOTE(harryfoo @ Aug 9 2020, 10:27 AM) I got mine from Mr DIY. Literally DIY'ed the entire interior light my own There are multiple T10s sold. Just be mindful of the length of the LED. Best to take a stock bulb as a sample when you purchase or doing a survey. |

QUOTE(luvox @ Aug 13 2020, 11:31 AM) I bought the ceramic coating solution, do it myself half way. Then noted there is some not so obvious stain that i cant remove it myself, i send for coating at ALVA for rm588, thought that the stain can polish away with machine but it x come out. 😂 Should hv just finish the coating myself. Wasted some money there. Later on i saw more cheaper coating offer came out at fb advert. Precisely my thought. 2.5 year-old car. Planning to repaint the car in 2-3 years time Im the type not willing to waste money on coating bcoz in the end the car will get scratched n better save the money to repaint to other more striking color, eg orange, yellow or blue |

QUOTE(SiewLee30 @ Aug 20 2020, 04:02 PM) is it possible to renew directly from the insurer website? will it still under HIP? it's 10% cheaper if renew online You can renew directly from insurer website. But it is not under HIP.I renewed mine early this year through Etiqa - I was with MSIG and HIP for the first 2 years. Considering to switch back to HIP+whichever insurer next year. |
