haha I have wrong understanding before do the coating, the shop tell me it will prevent watermarks due to water will just flow and wont stay on the body's surface which will create the marks
looks like the watermarks still be there.. but the car still shining with those marks
looks like need to go for maintenance

ironic right?
Coating is supposed to protect the applied object but need to put so much effort in maintaining it. Macam the protector need to be protected, apa logic
Initially when i got my car, was quite tempted to do it. But after some thought, came to the above conclusion, might as well just let it be. I not clean freak kaki, go for car wash once or twice a month only. Not only have to take care about water mark, some more got bird poo, tree sap, road tar, etc....If i apply coating, sure tarak wan....
Frankly, if you personally maintain your car, better that you just use a quick wax product (something like meguair's ultimate quik wax) bimonthly after a good car wash and do claying every half a year, almost 90% effect of coating yet cost so so much lesser.

I everyday goes to work park under hot sun and rain, guess wont be good for coating too right? Or just go for ppf be better? I every week wash my car once or twice too, just many random scartch from no where and alot stone chips.
Any good suggestion for this?
instead of ppf, you can choose normal wrap (of course use proper quality material), can be up to half the cost of a good quality ppf. Some more get to choose the colour shade you like. The best part, since there is a physical material barrier, once you peel of the wrap after some time, your paint still in good condition like the very 1st day you apply the wrap.
if you do your own washing, like i mentioned above, use a quick wax product bimonthly and clay every half a year. Sure kilat kilat, licin licin
