Grab and Uber has this user guideline, don't let your driver wait.

If i need my driver to wait, i will msg/call the driver that please wait for me and i will give you some tips. At least the driver emotion will balance a bit, and i got the driver ready to fetch me. Win-win for both side. At least the driver won't feel like we are taking advantage of them.

I support the driver that cancelled her trip, gave her a lesson. Some passenger really need to be educated.

I'm not a driver, im just the grab app user, i have talked to driver why they accept us so early before they drop off current passenger. Then I realised, it's not the driver greedy, also not the driver problem, it's grab company who is the greedy one cos they designed the app to send trip request to the driver even they haven't dropped off the current passenger. If the driver doesn't accept, it will affect their acceptance rate which will affect their level and incentive. Driver please correct me if i am wrong.
