All Perodua models have problem with their aircond. I have Kelisa and Myvi at home and both of them need to change compressor.

Before this use Proton no such problem

my almera changed cooling coil after four years. quoted me RM3k for the cooling coil. eventually claimed it under extended warranty claim.

mine one kong after 6 years... consider ok laa...

need 1-2 days lehh put at workshop... whole air-con system kena cerai habis coz once the compressor kong, potentially some shrapnel or dirty stuffs circulated in the air con system, so even if u change a new compressor, high chances it will kong in weeks... to save me the trouble, i replace everything. cost me 2k... new compressor been running for 3 years now... still good

Back then my 03 Nissan xtrail 2.5, my dad use 10 years+ then reach my hand compressor still working (kinda half working) just making some weird humming noise and occasionally it will need gas top up.

a/c is a wear and tear parts, hard to claim..they can say u didn't service it

Well, compressor in Malaysia only two common brand, either Sanden or Denso. So, no need to blame any car brand. I don't know of any car manufacturer that manufacturer own compressor

i second this. My first gen myvi aircond compressor spoiled once, leaking here and there, headache

But I had bad Denso compressor on my Toyota and never had any failure on all my P2 car even up to 7 years+. I've never driven all my cars with windows down, air-con on as soon as I switched on engine. Maybe just lucky

Denso makes shitty a/c components for the low end range cars. Which is why Perodua HVAC sucks.

use recond resolder with new ac relay rm250 swap basis.

the pick up not bad just parts like engine mounting last 2 years plus fan motor last 3 years compressor aircond also last 3 years

not sure if cvt is the culprit tho. preve and exora bold also kena this kaput awal mounting. different story with saga which has no turbo lol.

but nowadays when got some percentage of ckd parts in import manufacturer car mesti got a more unusual problem compares to cbu car.
