Ok. i'm not that expert but let me share with you. so far i only modified what other expert do plus i'm still new with mac customization.

FIRST OF ALL

PLEASE download this app first before you proceed.

i) Bowtie < For itunes status
ii) Geekleet < Read this and sources for geeklet
iii) Candy Bar < For icons and now free for all

and make sure you read 'about' app above so at least you know how it work

As for my desktop this is what i'm using

1. Itunes status [bowtie] - PASSED BY RYAN CHRISTENSEN [MOD BY RAKUNDO]

2. System info circular graphics [CPU,SYSTEM,MEMORY] - Info System < make sure read the manual first.

3. Calendar, Time, Day < Arrange by your taste .
* Font For Time
Font for Day etc

4. Wallpaper - Original Wallpaper
Wallpaper modified by me - My Wallpaper

5. Icons for HDD or Apple Logo - Ironman Icon

hmmm. if there any forgot to mention here let me know.

REMINDER - Read/Google about related application for basic knowledge first. later you play / try & error

Very nice desktop there!

Mind to tell how you changed your dock icons and dock, and are you using Mountain Lion?

I tried to use Candybar but it seems that Mountain Lion has locked all dock interfaces changes.

Any help?

u can change all the icons using candy bar as i am using the same app all u need to do is download those skins that u wanna install...

Icons, yes I can change, but as mentioned in my post earlier, I cannot change any dock icons and the dock itself.

I can't even seem to get the default 'float' icon pack to load to the dock.

Looks like I'll try to research more to see what's wrong.

This is my first mac in my life so i dedicated it to my kids. i'm still exploring osx
