For me, camera compartment is a bit disappointed.... noise at low light and shutter speed is slow during low light too....causing photo blur with slight movement with Auto Mode! (I'm compare with Note7 dual pixel camera)

S-Pen is as good as Note flagship with further enhancement. You must try it!

Edge Screen is still a useless technology at Note flagship! When you use S-Pen to draw near the edge.. It is really difficult to draw or write ! Note series should not comes with edge screen!

Infinity Display is a good features with big screen but I'm still struggling to use the new features without Home Button...

The size of N8 is really comfortable during hold at my hand. Perfect!

Bixby Button is really disturbing... To hold in one hand and to adjust Up/down volume is very easy to accidentally press the Bixby button.... I'm disabled it.

Medium usage for today. Battery life still can give 12 hour juice. It is acceptable for me.

Multi Windows is a great features too... Can use two same app concurrently.

Lastly, I'm miss the IR features..

For the camera part, that is how camera work especially Auto Mode they will bump up ISO to prioritize shutter speed, when ISO at max then they will require lower shutter speed to capture enough light thus the photo blur and less sharp picture. If you know well, it's best to use pro mode and control the setting by yourself, for sure it will be much much more better than auto mode.

I also miss the IR feature, not sure why they remove it it's damn convenient, my paid IR app last time is wasted now

How u guys make the position of nav bar?stay on bottom all the time?
Was scare that make it stay on bottom all the time will easily get screen burn in

Tbh, i hope camera can done better. Saw comparison with iphone 8 plus, for very 1st time i think iphone got an edge this time around.
I also feels telephoto on iphone looks more natural.
Hopefully few updates can improve the result.

Can use tiny button to hide navi bar.. Our note will expose to screen burn?

x-one is actually dry installation but some pros apply wet installation
if wet installation will be hard to install it wrongly cos easy to adjust

would be troublesome to keep on hiding and showing the nav bar sometimes
it might be having screen burn but maybe not so easily,but still i worried too
as i knw the AOD screen will be keep moving to avoid screen burn but not sure about the nav bar

I use more than 1 week adee... yesterday was the first time someone actually noticed my phone and asked is that a new phone ... somehow note 8 doesn't really attract attention ....

Agree... the live focus... I see the result... not really to my liking... below expectation..
Better take normal pic which is superb.

i think the most obvious part will be the dual camera on the back,if u choose light colour then it will attract more ppl

Honestly, the live focus feature didnt impressed me like mate 9 does. 😅

Take the pen out and people will look at you if you are holding a Note 7 or not. People on the plane may start to scream.....

many people do notice my note 8, some colleague even ask that how come my phone so big, what phone is it

i wish there is note 8 special edition.....for lefthanded person

The phone is little big long like quarter inch longer than Note4 but same length with iPhone 6+. In fact slightly narrow than these two. The wide aspect ratio of screen make it looks "big".

Any problem for left-hander?
