is becoz ramai distributor kena tipu supplier on warranty claims x dpt2 after return faulty product therefore no support.

zotac comes with 5 years warranty.
if it pops get a new card.

So went there to check some parts and was shocked to hear that reply.

In the end went to Lowyat Plaza until now.

Well just bought zotac 1080 and use few days already kaput. I tot they giving 5 years warranty means they are confident with their product, manatau

I stil rmember when i bought i asked why no use wd black/blue(forgotten which colour i asked) -- "ooh those has alot of problems so we dont sell"

lol if it is idealtech, what i can say is they're expanding. they've moved to a bigger shop this year.

arrogant or whatever, their claims are quite good if they are to be trusted. such as providing "lifetime" support for their rigs. dont know how far it goes.

Using Zotac 1060 6gb AMP... no problems. Wonder what's up with the negativity. I do know reviews for their 1080ti is pretty average (big size = not better cooling).

I try their 1080ti amp extreme 3 slot. I can say best budget cooler. Can beat msi and asus in term of cooling and price

So far so good. Only thing is voltage locked in afterburner and there is a blue led ligbt blinking inside card. Temp is 84 c on games that use full power.

The main reason why they only stock reliable brands. It's actually good for the consumer since the shop will for sure know which brand give them the most problem.

Ignorant seller. I bought my first Zotac gpu in 2008. It was a 9600GTX or something like that. Sold it beginning this year after using for 8 years plus.

1. before ryzen, all AMD Processor really cannot pakai la. you have more choices for the Intel with it's motherboard.

2. every PC hardwares maybe can kaput one day. but you have to make sure you bought from correct dealers who really take care the after sales. in idealtech, we willing to spend more to pickup from ur place and give u a new replacement, or send to supplier immediately by courier to make sure it return to us quickly.

3. I believed the hardisk we not recommend is wD Caviar Green and Black, really alot problem, if you asking at our group you can get alot replies. for storage we will recommend caviar blue, or seagate barracuda hdd (based on the rigs we built every year). price different is small thing but the important is you will lost all the data. that times you cannot blame idealtech because sell you that hardisk

4. we have our strategy running our business. remember 5-6 years ago we keep selling at very low price in forum end up lowyat dealers and others retailers complaint the online sellers until we get no supply. but now the situation look like terbalik. We have to sell and listed at SRP only can get the stock supply, when we forgot to update the pricelist then kena shoot also. when customer bought cheaper from us then post at web also we kena shoot. so the only thing we can do is give more rebates on PC building and lifetime service. for new members maybe not sure, but you can refer back the members who really active here 5-10 year ago.

5. It is true we just purchased a new building beside the tesco ampang in mid of 2017 and just moved to new building on 1/8/2017. If you really check our shop layout, we are trying to treat all walk in by face to face consultation and more PC display in the shop to show the customers the differences of the products. our old shops was very pack and sometimes we really out of space to talk to customers and I saw some reviews was saying we are so busy typing/reading at monitor/doing the PC and no entertain them. This is the reason why some of them saying we are arrogant etc.

6. our business focus on PC building, it's not meaning we only build high end PC. the qty of PC price from RM2k to 5k around 150pcs per month and remaining are the high end over RM5k-20k. normally we will post the PC which over RM4k at FB. that make someo of you have perception said idealtech only sell to rich guys.

7. at other shops, the seller will give u whatever you list down and quote you the price. in idealtech we will ask you to listen to us first before you choose. not many vendor/distributor can do the good job in RMA in long run in my experience of 10 years in this field. However we can just tellig to our customers some of the parts we sold to them have 6 or 7 years warranty and anything we will responsible for the RMA because our business run for 10 years already in market.

8. end users buy product A , because the price is cheaper and warranty life is longer. dealers sell product A because it has something benefits in the purchase from distributor and not need to push the products also ppl will buy. dealers never deny for any products with higher cost as long as got end users ready to spend the money. sorry i cannot disclosure much about the business with product A.

Out of curiosity i asked why is it pricier than lowyat & i was expecting answer like we offer easier rma service, better after sales service dsbnya manatau their response is "then you go & buy from lowyat". Literally jgn persoal.

4/5 years back, their price are one of the most competitive one and I don’t mind pay for shipping to east Malaysia. Nowadays competitiors catching up with their pricing and their product choices are lesser nowadays

All brands also got supporter and detractor. It is not a good business practice to be bias and limit your customer base. Good or bad, all merchandise have their own market purpose.

Idealtech warranty policy is the best compare to others..

I dont have issues with zotac. Just that the 2+3 years warranty terms is abit tricky. Actually zotac is owned by pc partner which also owns sapphire. However Sapphire only give 2 years warranty.
I had more problems with palit and xfx brand. And palit owns galax, gainward , inno3d .

alot brand for IT. cannot focus on selling all brands.
nowadays all the dealers know what is good and what got problem but seems like everyone dont like to hear the truth. and we were prohibited to tell in public.

Why dont just simply said, "we dont sell zotac"?.
