At 35mil? The way I look at it, he could have been a bargain if FSG was willing to pay 10mil the first time we spotted him.

But NO, our beloved FSG chose to penny and dime with him and the whole thing ended in him getting swooped by Chelsea.

We're effectively in rebuilding mode. Losing the playmaker of the team means we have to find another or another way to play. The 2nd half of the season is gonna be frustrating. Let's just hope VVD could at least improve the other end and we could nick more 1-0/2-0 wins.

With Mignolet, a mistake MAY happen. By and large, when the opposing team shoots, Mignolet will fling himself towards it and at least be able to palm it away.

With Karius, a mistake is EXPECTED. By and large, when the opposing team shoots, Karius will either be rooted on the ground watching the ball fly past him or he will fling himself in the air when the ball is actually rolling much lower. I still cannot make out whether he's just pretending to try to save it or he's just very slow in his reflexes!

Of course Klopp will have none of that. He will use Karius till the end of the season UNLESS he messes up big time like he did last season. My opinion is that we better not let Mig go anywhere yet because Karius will probably mess up again!

Going back to our Man City win : their first goal - poor goalkeeping; their second goal - ball was going in low while Karius dived in mid-air - didn't look like he was going  for the ball! their third goal - Karius just stood there watching Gudongan poke it in. He could have tried to go forward to narrow the angle or at least try to dive like for the second goal. At least not so embarrassing!

Klopp may find it very hard to win the PL, because he is NOT objective and too self-opinionated.

But for Coutinho, we had 6 months to plan for a replacement.

What happen to mane of last season???

He was on fire (until the injury) but still did very well after that in last season. This season maybe a small handful games. Some pointed out it's because he was moved from right. I not sure & I don't think that's the cause
