Ookyo got 2 months lock-in period?

totally a let down
i get blank white screen when loading to MaxisPay page for topups... been days.

Other app such whatsapps, insta work normally
And fuzzy help relly dumb bot. Thats why i asked here

I top up RM31.80, hang. So I top up again. It double charged my credit card. What should I do?

hey ookyo user, that day i raise the grace period payment issue (no data) guess what, i found another worst of ookyo. this is like 100x worst than that.

so i was oversea last few days, when back i found i had lost my ookyo sim card. the first thing i do is contact the chatbot & raise issue with airport wifi. then after some time later they reply msg (copy paste sop type). then after few round finally i go to press sim replacement. guess what, they ask for RM5 and ask me to pay before send the card. since i lost my sim card, i have no way to receive the tac code require by any credit card and online transaction. so i have to borrow others card to do the payment. then i have to wait for their slow delivery. right now 3rd day after payment, im still not yet received my sim and i cannot transfer any money and use my credit card online.

REALLY WTF experience. if other telco i would have had go to physical store to slove the sim card issue. right now im stuck at the delivery and i felt helpless. the CS say just wait.

Guys I just got this sms from maxis:

"You have used 90% of your Free Social Chat quota. Stay lit with a new pass from the Ookyo App."

What does this even mean? Are they saying the unlimited actually have quota??

But according to the ookyo FAQ, the unlimited app is literally unlimited as long as it is "valid unlimited app".

can i use ookyo for call only?
just topup wallet right, no need to purchase data?
i wonder is the active date based on topup value?

Im using ookyo and choose telegram as one of the unlimited apps, but the speed of download vid/image is really slow compare to  when i accedsing Instagram.

Anyone experienced the same?

Im switching to umobile and as i typing "yes" to port out sms, sending failed because "phone number formatted incorrectly"...

Meaning to say i cant send that port ot sms at all... How to solve this?

im also saying bye bye to ookyo since unlimited calls taken away.

has any1 tried tune talk? their package looks interesting too @ RM48 per month, slightly more than what was suggested earlier using ookyo+yoodoo

Is RM30 the minimum plan? I thought can just order the sim and only purchase the unlimited call for RM6.

BTW, this ookyo has 4 apps with unlimited data usage right ontop of the 8gb that we get right? Is there any restriction on this unlimited thing like the resolution of the streaming that we used on Twitch or Youtube?

for RM30/mth, can i choose 4 apps with unlimited data usage as follows:

1. youtube
2. chrome
3. facebook
4. whatsapp

with unlimited tethering?

also, how do they charge for other apps usage that not included in those 4 mentioned?

Can any apps that is not in Play Store be added to unlimited?

I ported in from Tune Talk to Hotlink in order to port in to Ookyo.
I have done it for another number previously with no issues.
But this time when I tried to port in from hotlink to ookyo, it says, sorry you're not able to port in this number to ookyo. Perhaps take a new number with us!
Can anyone enlighten me? What has gone wrong?

I also encountered similar experience while trying to port in from Hotlink. I just port in 2 numbers from other telcos about a week ago. Previously I managed to port in to ookyo within hours of successful port in to Hotlink. My guess is Hotlink has a cooling off period to port out even to its own sub company. I tried to enquire about Hotlink Flex. Even for subscription to Hotlink flex, you need to wait for a month. So after a month I will give a try to port in to Ookyo again.

Would running out of data affect the unlimited apps? First time I finished the 8GB data today, and my dooit game which was halfway running suddenly lagged. Still could finish and win, but the video stream cut off and I only got questions. However after that I tried instagram (another of my unlimited apps) and it felt just fine.
