QUOTE(mafioso @ Oct 5 2017, 05:41 PM) OP5 owners Based on reviews, lose to samsung but on par with P10.hows the camera on this phone? of course cannot expect top notch quality like samsung or apple but is it considered good enough for the average joe? (both daylight and night use) I'm not owner but soon to be owner I saw people mention low light shots struggle abit. Has this been fixed by update ? These release cycles are crazy. Not feasible to release a new product every 6 months. People on average replace their cellphone every 2 years

QUOTE(evilhomura89 @ Oct 18 2017, 04:40 PM) For those who wants to try out Google Camera latest version ported from Pixel 2, can use the following: Thanks for the link. It really annoys me that op is already looking to next product while leaving the camera half bakedMGC_5.1.014_7.0H_C2API_v.1.0_AllinOne modded by Arnova8G2 (xda) Download source - https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...2&postcount=995 I'm using this together with OOS 4.5.13 without any major issue other than the delay in HDR processing. Settings for manual focus (ie, touch to focus) to work: Model: Pixel2XL Config camera HDR+: Nexus HDR+ Parameter: Medium Settings for best picture quality but manual focus doesn't work. Auto focus works well. Model: Pixel2XL Config camera HDR+: Pixel HDR+ Parameter: High (Note: you can choose Super High here for even better HDR quality but the processing time will be longer) When using Google Camera, remember to turn on HDR+ (auto HDR doesn't really work for me in my case) This app will not replace your stock camera app, it will be installed side by side. For low light photography, Google Camera is the better performer if you're doing it handheld. If you have a tripod for your low light photography, the stock camera Pro Mode (fully manual mode) would be a better choice. |

Did anyone find a case that works well with curved tempered glass ?
The one I've tried still pushes the TG up when pressed. |

QUOTE(evilhomura89 @ Oct 24 2017, 01:37 PM) Try looking for a case that doesn't cover the front edge since that's where the curved TG will get pushed out Yeah seems like you can have one or the other but not both.Or find a good casing then settle for the partial cover TGSP like what I'm doing now The partial cover TGSP that I'm using now has the same coverage as the original factory installed SP (not too small not too big, just nice) The edge of my phone is protected by the casing hence i won't need the glass to cover the edge But I will give it one last shot. The Tudia Merge got a few testimonial in Amazon saying it fits TG. Need to pay a more but not more than the original case. This post has been edited by killdavid: Oct 24 2017, 01:44 PM |

I experience the condition when the phone is being charged, running your hand on the smooth aluminum back, you can feel the phone vibrating. Did anyone experience that?
