I dont think there would be much difference as you wont be utilizing the ram to the max on the 8GB version.

Just like vehicles,
V6 engine run smoothly, quietly n save fuel.
V8 engine run faster, high power up n more on burning fuel.

Played with it for a while. The interface is snappy and smooth. Its a nice phone. Just the camera is a big let down.

The video output looks like some of the videos on youtube done by reviewers. Shaky and low light photos are bad.

agreed, low light condition really cannot... a lot of noise...

They would definately need to implement it. Its technology and oneplus will be left behind if they dont.

im now at 53% battery left with 4.2 hours of SOT.  and SOT varies a lot depending usage and factors like standby time, mobile signal, gps etc.

I am on full stock too, basically only difference is mine 6gb ram 
anyway yours aren't that bad in my opinion, one full charge should get you with 6 hours of SOT i assume?

i doubt so. even there is, it should be very negligible. Do you have a lot of apps? especially those app running in the background

Whatsapp and Facebook are known to be battery drainer, not sure bout wechat though
Too bad there's no alternative for Whatsapp but Facebook you can use web browser or other lighter app to reduce battery usage

Mobile network coverage plays a big part in battery life as well
Poor coverage = huge battery consumption

App data usage is meant for controlling how your app transmit data via mobile/wifi connection

Technically yes because the 8GB has more ram and could perform more processes at any time and therefore would require more battery power. But I would say the difference with the 6GB is negligible.
S8 only wins over the Opo5 on Display and camera. Other than that, the Op5 pawns it. The S8 has a poorer battery life compared to the Op5 too.
New S8 is Rm2399 on lazada. You do the maths.
