QUOTE(kevin23 @ Nov 5 2017, 04:50 PM) Played with it for a while. The interface is snappy and smooth. Its a nice phone. Just the camera is a big let down. Even 3rd party camera app also can't make it better? The video output looks like some of the videos on youtube done by reviewers. Shaky and low light photos are bad. |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Nov 8 2017, 02:07 PM) They would definately need to implement it. Its technology and oneplus will be left behind if they dont. Sealed set.It is a used unit right? Just use it first while waiting for the OP5T to arrive and the sell it off later. If no buyer today, then I will use it later . Hahaha |

QUOTE(Jayi @ Nov 10 2017, 01:14 PM) im now at 53% battery left with 4.2 hours of SOT. and SOT varies a lot depending usage and factors like standby time, mobile signal, gps etc. Below is my usage.Original rom and kernel. GPS off. Standby time 30second. Do I need to flash custom kernel? Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(Jayi @ Nov 10 2017, 02:01 PM) I am on full stock too, basically only difference is mine 6gb ram 53% battery left with 4.2 hours of SOT is really great.anyway yours aren't that bad in my opinion, one full charge should get you with 6 hours of SOT i assume? so 8GB drains more battery than 6GB one? |

QUOTE(evilhomura89 @ Nov 10 2017, 02:48 PM) Whatsapp and Facebook are known to be battery drainer, not sure bout wechat though so if i disabled Wifi in App data Usage setting, it wont run on background by wifi is it?Too bad there's no alternative for Whatsapp but Facebook you can use web browser or other lighter app to reduce battery usage Mobile network coverage plays a big part in battery life as well Poor coverage = huge battery consumption App data usage is meant for controlling how your app transmit data via mobile/wifi connection |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Nov 10 2017, 05:08 PM) Technically yes because the 8GB has more ram and could perform more processes at any time and therefore would require more battery power. But I would say the difference with the 6GB is negligible. Noted.S8 only wins over the Opo5 on Display and camera. Other than that, the Op5 pawns it. The S8 has a poorer battery life compared to the Op5 too. New S8 is Rm2399 on lazada. You do the maths. Thanks for explanation |
