PETALING JAYA: Bomba sedang menyiasat kemungkinan kebakaran sekolah tahfiz Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah yang meragut 24 nyawa hari ini mungkin kerana perbuatan khianat.

Pengarah Bomba Kuala Lumpur Khirudin Drahman berkata bukti dan keterangan saksi menyangkal teori awal yang mengesyaki kebakaran disebabkan litar pintas.

“Selepas pemeriksaan secara teliti dan dengan menggunakan anjing pengesan, kami dapati kebakaran bermula di luar bilik asrama di tingkat 2.

“Anjing turut terhidu kesan kimia sekitar kawasan itu, jadi kita bawa ke makmal,” katanya kepada FMT.

Khirudin menambah mereka yang terselamat dalam tragedi itu memberitahu pihak berkuasa yang mereka tidak dapat melepaskan diri dari bilik asrama itu melalui pintu.

“Ada 2 silinder gas masak di kawasan itu,” katanya.

“Silinder itu sepatutnya berada di dapur di aras bawah.”

Ketua Polis Kuala Lumpur Datuk Amar Singh Ishar Singh pagi tadi berkata polis mengesyaki litar pintas punca kebakaran itu.

Namun menurut Khirudin, Suruhanjaya Tenaga yang turun ke sekolah hari ini mendapati tiada tanda-tanda litar pintas atau beban lebih pada output elektrik.

Ditanya sama ada beliau mengesyaki kebakaran berpunca daripada seseorang yang bekerja atau belajar di sekolah tu, beliau berkata bomba belum menyiasat kemungkinan itu.

“Kita perlu tunggu sehingga ujian makmal selesai dijalankan, dan kita akan serahkan kepada polis untuk siasatan. Bila berlaku begitu (khianat), kita anggap jenayah dan jenayah di bawah bidang kuasa polis.

“Kita nak cepat sebab kes ini sudah menjadi perhatian negara, dan semua orang mahu tahu punca kebakaran,” katanya.

What I see is baseless clue about gas cylinders being on another floor. Possibly for storage instead of a "crime". They could have some kenduri event and only take down for those kenduri.

First thing about the rokok, it is haram, even in Islam anything that is harmful to the body is considered haram. But for rokok, its only just recently being Fatwa'ed(Decided) by Saudi ulama that rokok is harmful to the body thus was haram.

As for the dog's, alcohol & pigs, it was clearly defined in the Quran that these thing's are haram n also why most malay people always tried to get away from.

About working with dogs, in Malaysia if you noticed like in police/army, they will assign the job to non-muslim people to avoid any difficulties.

In Islam, yes you can work with dogs. But, you need to do a proper samak/clean up your body before doing prayer's. This is where it's became a norm where malay people tried as hard as possible to avoid the dogs. We can work with dog's that not a problem, only the cleaning part that that are hard.
