For iphone warranty is not worldwide

how come iphone got worldwide warranty ?

It does say "May Be". Through my own personal experience, I have no issues with warranty for all my international procured products (apple).

Why not?

iPhone warranty can only be claimed in the country you purchased. iPad and iPod is different you can claim it anywhere

If no mistaken, it is stated in apple care, it is worldwide warranty.

Apple care is different, you have to buy it externally

Apple authorised service centre in Malaysia do not accept international units.

There's no apple care for iPhone, in Malaysia, too

EDIT: Things changed. Policy changed. More lenient now Possibility is there..

Any facts to back this up?

My iphone 7 plus (AUS unit) faults was serviced by Machines Service center, got a replacement unit, no questions asked. iPhone 6s Plus (Japan Unit), also replaced by them with no questions asked.

it has been a known fact that iPhone's purchased out of the country have limited warranty coverage. Is this your first time taking pre-orders? Even people who sells Singapore set dont dare to claim that the warranty can be claimed in Malaysia. If the warranty is honoured then you are lucky. But you can't simply claim that the warranty is worldwide, thats misleading

he is correct. iPhone is not international warranty.

What i wrote on warranty is 1 year with Apple.
