IPhone X display is a tad bigger than IPhone 8 Plus right?
*
The x has slightly smaller display size, but a few new features for the 1k+ top up from the 8plus...so it's either u want the tad bigger screen with other same old features/looks..and save the 1k on ip8+, or pay the 1k+ for tad smaller screen + a few new features, including buttonless, almost edgeless, much smaller fit-to-hand sized phone...a lot of my friends (girls) went straight with the x coz it's much smaller physical size than the 7/8plus models which fits perfectly into their smaller palm, yet only 15% smaller display size (and the taller screen made it up for better reading) with bunch of new things to look forward + whole new design + new rear vertical design lens (which is ugly imo)..and the 1k topup is lol to them....so to them is a win win win win..

Interesting, I’m running on 7 plus now and I tot upgrading to x will be an upgrade in screen size which is what I’m interested in
*
I came from 7 plus too...if screen size is important for u then I suggest u stay on till bigger x end of this year..I'm ok with it so far just need time to get used to it..about 15% smaller in overall...but other than that everything is a step up..including battery...

Something is wrong with your phone. There might be a rouge app using it, that’s why use time is 15 hours.

I have everything turned on, Bluetooth, wifi, background app refresh, location services and push notifications but if I leave it overnight, the usage does not count like that. If I left it at 100% before sleep, in the morning it will still be 100%.

11.2.2 seems to be the worst among all 11 version..

normally left with 60%

im using 7plus

Actually you can check. 2 ways i.e. by xcode or an app in the phone. I personally use System Status available in the app store. You can see the CPU usage if the CPU Have spikes.

My usage
[attachmentid=9511243]

System Status
[attachmentid=9511245]

I got the 11.4 on my iPad Pro and realize the batt drain is bad to a point that it’s obvious and start to be unacceptable. Are there’s any ways to roll back to 11.3? I checked ispw and it’s checked in red...

No bro, Apple has stopped signing iOS 11.3.1.

http://www.iphonehacks.com/2018/06/apple-s...1-firmware.html

I'm surprised the battery drain on your iPad Pro is bad. How old is it? Over 2 years? Battery life is great on my iPad 2018 - but then again, it's new.
*
It’s an iPad Pro 12.9 2nd gen, got it in feb 2018 so it’s knly 4 months old..had some auto restart issue recently (a quick 5 secs restart without going through apple logo) and it happens randomly about 3-4 times daily...very annoying as I do some gaming on it and auto restart kills the fun of it..

Went 11.4 few days ago and realize the batt drain much more than 11.3.1, example when I stream a movie it normally takes about 4% an hour, now is an obvious 8%, too obvious that it consume double the batt from 11.3...sigh

Have you installed any apps recently? Sometimes its the apps that is making your unit crazy. I once had similar problem but that was with ipad2 days. Its worth deleting the most recent apps and see whether the issue subsides. You can always reupload the app through the app store under your account.
*
no i only installed 1 app since purchase to date..... no changes of settings too....the problem just come all of a sudden....but so far 11.4 kind of rectified the issue, hope I won't jinx it......no auto restart issue now, but battery drain issue lol

If you have just updated to 11.4, it does take a few days on the ip to index all the files etc. then it gets better.
*
already 4th day.... and I have not seen any improvements, so im guessing it'll be like that...... im still going to test out for another week (not like im given a choice to re roll back to 11.3 anyways)

QUOTE(attw @ Jun 27 2018, 08:17 AM)
Has it been going on for long since you installed 11.4? Some reported bad battery life on their iPhones immediately after installing 11.4 but then it stabilizes thereafter.
*
yea its kind obvious example if Im going to stream an hour long movie, it takes about 4% on 11.3.1, and it takes about 7-8% on 11.4..... same movie, same link.
