Quite disappointed with this realease TBH.
Was expecting a little more in terms of battery capacity or more upgrade in camera.
Also that design is in its 4th year now lol

I was hoping for the same thing, especially for the camera.

Do you guys think....ip8/8+ sales will lag and most will be waiting for the X?

USD 699 >> RM 3349 is quite reasonable. RM 4k+ is jacked up price!

4xxx should be for 8 Plus 256GB.

Its fair to say the 8 should be within 3200-3400 for the base 64GB model.

Yes, the design ought to be upgraded. At least have the X design. But with the glass at the back, it looks way sexier than before.

help us save money.... if cover up our iphone 6 properly people still think its iphone 8

I wonder know why they can't remove home button and do like iPhone X.

same design for 4 years, apple is getting lazier nowadays.

Got a feeling its a 7s, just rebranded to 8.

Like the typical S range, usually just internal changes. But seriously, feels like there's no effort in making the 8 at all.

Well they know people will buy thus they dont feel the need to change anything.

At this point, the changes for 6 to 6S is more than 7 to 8.
No effort in making the 8 as all effort is spent into the X, where Apple will sell millions.

Still prefer to use my fingerprint rather than my face for Apple Pay.
Imagine if I accidentally proceed with a payment and happened to be looking at my phone at the same time - how to cancel the payment?

Those who are looking for a basic phone will just go for 8.
Those looking for that extra something plus have the $ for it will go for the X.
I think it's pretty well defined now.

Actually this is iphone 7s they rename on 8.
In the overall market will impact from iphone 7.
After few months can see all those reseller will throw their price on 7&7+.

If the home button still hard press without any soft touch like mi phone.
Stick with iPhone 7 much better deal.

it has different step

1) touch ID - tap your phone to the credit card terminal, then scan fingerprint.

2) face ID - scan face, if authenticated, tap your phone to the credit card terminal.

Last time when I use android, yes I'm bother about battery capacity. Now jump to ios, seems no need already. Everything is fine.
