Here are the list of streaming devices that I have tested myself with new AOTG v 2.xxx.x

Can install, can login, can play the all channels including HD live tv channels and HD VOD without any issue:
Nvidia Shield (Netflix HD@4K)
Tanix Tx6 (Netflix SD)
Beelink GT1 Mini (Netflix SD)
Tanix Tx3 Mini-A (Dual band wifi, Bluetooth, Android 8.1) (Netflix SD) - Common issue is with lot of Samsung TV. Screen will go blank after launch AOTG. Other TV brand also affected but not as much as Samsung models
Tanix Tx3 Max (Netflix SD)

Can install, can login, only SD channels are smooth, others HD VOD and live TV playback is sluggish, almost unwatchable:

Mecool M8S Pro W normal android (Netflix SD)

Therefore, at the moment, you cannot have both AOTG and Netflix unless you plan to spend lot of money on Nvidia Shield.

Previously, I owned the X92 box (3gb+16gb), and still buffers a few times before it goes hd all the way.

Now, with tx6 4gb+32gb, just 1-time ±5secs buffer is all it takes, then hd smooth playback.

Imagine tx3 mini with 2gb+16gb.. I don't own it, but if users are saying it can run, good. But to answer ur ques, imo tx6 is more value for money.

tx3 mini is a very good and bargain option for someone who just need basic box to watch astrogo.. or someone who want a 2nd box, who already have mibox or androidtv smarttv to watch for netflix hd@4k

I bought T9 not long ago, can't use AOTG. Seller send me two APK, still can't use. Until now not yet come back to me on the solution.
Screen just went black/blank when i open the APP.

Tx3 mini was the first box i know to have the root switch.

Been almost a year now, working fine, ok.

This is not coming from astrogo app but from some other.

Isolate, remove apps one by one if u need.

Another app probably updated by itself yesterday, and started sending you ads. I don't think it is the Astro app.

Uninstalled Viu, solved the ad problem

do u hv in there... redboxtv, mobdro, freeflix?

certain versions of these may contain undesirables... check them one by one.

my guess is redbox. remove it!

I'm currently using an unrooted TX6 and did install the latest Astro on the go apk (2.201). The installation can be done successfully but somehow I am having problem to log in as attached snapshot. Does anyone know what is the problem here? Maybe some internet settings?

Yeah from root check it is showing not rooted. And the acc/username is working from my pc and iPhone. Anything else that I could check?

astrogo as an app is NEVER built to work with a remote, mouse or airmouse completely.

if has always been built to work with TOUCHSCREEN, i.e. yr fingers to swipe and touch.

my experience, a normal mouse works better than an airmouse - easier to "drag".

3rd I renamed SU file at system/bin & system/xbin
