Based on my experience, if you want to get LG, get at least the 7 series and above.

Best is you test all the vs and pick the one best to your eyes. Be aware that the samsung is most likely a VA panel while the LG you listed are all IPS.

Actually i'm also in dilemma between samsung and Lg model.. samsung model capable to process HDR10+ format whereas LG can't..
I'm now looking for RU8000 samsung series but i wonder what is the lowest price range in the market now for RU8000?

Yeah you are right about that.. but due to budget constraint, the only LG model I check is 7 series and believe me, none of the 7 series (UM) model support dolby vision (info source from RTINGS.com).. i might need to look at other series but this will incur more cost..
