Although here in Malaysia 2/3 years warranty; other neighbor market such as Indonesia give 5 years warranty for that model. Mean normally it can last more.. It use Japan made panel.

I just found out Toshiba 55M550M on sale for RM2.3k on shopee. That one ok too.

To be frank, there are many model from LG & Samsung that very good for your budget especially 55 or 65 inch. If u go to showroom, u will be "wowed" by their tech.
Toshiba QLED & Sony are also good bcoz they use LG & Samsung panel. The different is that they still make their own processor & board.
Only few TV from Toshiba & Panasonic use their own LCD (but quality biasa2 by today standard)
The only Japan company who produce their own 100% that I know is Sharp. Their QC a bit higher.
For long term reliability, all my LGs & Samsung cannot last more than 5 years (except model before 4K era). LCD screen itself start make line, blackout etc. For some people, they dont care. After 3-4 years just buy new one.
If u care much about reliability, stick with Sharp & Toshiba model that I mentioned, yeah better go for 65".

hard to find low price with full specs, im looking at panasonic mx800 or sony x80l

I see. My tv is dying soon, flickers once in a while and goes black. Asked a few electrical shops, supposedly Merdeka sale next week have some discounts, wonder can cheaper by how much.

The MX800 is 2.5k while X80L is 3k, of course need to add-on warranty until 5 years.
