Buy better Bluetooth keyboard instead this compact one which don't last long. I got this type of keyboard. Spoiled less than a year.

QUOTE(writesimply @ Jan 23 2022, 12:28 AM)
Like others said, you can just use the mic on the remote as it is an Android TV.

But if you really want a keyboard, here's one that's compact and uses Bluetooth.

Thinking to get ethernet adapter for my Sony TV KD-X85L. USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Network Adapter can be used and only RTL8153 chipset compatible instead of AX88179 chipset. There are plenty of RTL8153 chipset Ethernet Network Adapter from cheap around RM20 up to TP-link UE300 more than RM80. Anyone using those cheap but reliable one? Or must go for brand one?

Eh.. doesn't have Ethernet port? Shouldn't it have 1 port at the side?

Because I got 800mpbs broadband speed. Itchy hand only biggrin.gif Actually it's up to individual which I prefer to use Lan adapter. The Lan adapter I used is only less than RM16 after shopee shop voucher & coins applied.

Bro, may I know why you would need more than 100mbps speed? Coz I think 100mbps is more than enough for all kinds of streaming services? Also, I'm using same tv model as you but I'm using WiFi 5 GHz for connectivity atm.
I'm using the X85L since December and I'm living every second of it. I heard glowing reviews about X90L too so I believe you're good to go.
The Sony X85L I'm using since December got a tiny bit lag but not bad at all. This is my first Android TV. Also my first high end TV. To me it's high end la coz it's all the money I have hahaha. Love the freedom having android apps. I no longer subscribe to Netflix Hotstar Amazon due to this hehe. They can go ahead and increase their prices I don't care lol
Get the X85L or better X90L if you can.
Bro I bought X85L for 4.3k in December 2023. Don't buy the X80L.

My Sony TV is KD-65X85L.

You need to make sure the USB 3.0/TYPE C 3.0 adapter MUST come with RTL-8153 chipset. Expensive one can be TP-Link UE300.

I just bought unbranded type one.

If you buy from other sellers do confirm with them is RTL-8153 chipset.

Well 100mbps shall be sufficient. You can try out to watch those 8K video n see. Many factors to be considered.

QUOTE(Scissorshand @ May 5 2024, 12:05 PM)
But what’s the max stream the tv can accommodate?

New TV nowadays can't last longer. Either get TV Box or get those brand offer FOC warranty or pay for extended warranty up to 5 years.

QUOTE(RiriRuruRara @ Nov 16 2025, 01:27 PM)
Budget rm3k but if there something a bit more expensive but can last longer I don’t mind to top up? My current tv is 14 years old and the only reason I want to upgrade is because it doesn’t have smart tv features.
