QUOTE(ben3003 @ Mar 6 2020, 07:44 AM) yeah.. is like need top up 100% from gx800 lol.. u guys have any video to test the HDR effect and tv? can share ka? guys, if my viewing distance is from queen size bed which i normally use to watch movie, should i get 65inch or 55inch? but i also play ps4 and the distance is 1.5m, i dont normally game on the bed becos the distance kinda far and the position not so good. i use my chair for gaming. seems like 55inch is okay for 1.5m, but 65inch is way overkill for 1.5m gaming.. kinda dilemma now.. if 65inch i have no budget for the 13k c9.. 55inch still can squeeze.. After getting my first TV ( 65" ) I think the usual online recommend distance, many are quite old, aiming for 1080P resolution. Initial guide I read recommend 8-13.5ft for 65" but I found it just nice at 8ft Then I saw other guide that pointed out 4K TV viewing distance.

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Mar 19 2020, 02:43 AM) For me, this kind of recommend distance is useless especially now all recommended is closer for 4K but still further for 1080p, what nonsense is that? Just choose a distance you find view is satisfied, that it. yeah it's just rough recommendation. When I visited my friend's new house and saw his TV and thought too huge. Later when I bought 65" TV put in my new house, that's slightly oversize according to these recommendation chart, but looks fine and I enjoy the large size myself.

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Mar 19 2020, 04:31 PM) I notice once you go bigger, you can't go back and notice previous smaller size very small. Haha! Last time 32" already big, now 32" is so tiny. I even find 77" just nice for hall but too bad too expensive. Before this my room is 43" and I find it big at beginning, now I find 55" just nice. Haha! hehe definitely. When I change PC monitor to 34", looks too big, get used to it few months later. 65" on my living room felt big and stunning at first, get used to it few weeks later Same to our smartphone, last time 5" consider big, now S20 Ultra near 7"

QUOTE(touristking @ Jun 14 2020, 09:07 PM) How do you people search using Mandarin on these smart TV? I rarely do that, but if needed, you just use phone to type in, get the result, and cast to TV. For example in Youtube.

QUOTE(touristking @ Jun 15 2020, 02:01 PM) that would mean you have to have Chromecast device. Or a TV with Chromecast built in? I seen people using the tv remote and the inputting of text is really pain taking. almost dinosaur age. If Android TV OS ( true Google certified ), 99% confirmed have Chromecast build in. QUOTE(kkthen @ Jun 15 2020, 02:24 PM) This is youtube app feature. when you open youtube app in your phone & TV same time which share with same internet account. You can easily cast your youtube content to your TV. no need chromecast. Even non android base TV also got this feature if you got youtube app inside TV or media player. If your TV got voice input, if you set your youtube language to Chinese, you can speak mandarin to search youtube content in Chinese. Ya, I was surprise my Samsung ( non Android TV OS ) can do that for Youtube From Android or Windows also can cast.
