Anybody got this model? Looks attractive to me, with HDR, and WCG. More importantly it’s got local dimming.

i also looking at this tv, in dilemma now. view this tv and a sony x8500e , sony seems abit better.
but lg this model they selling rm5k

If you have budget of course the x8500e is better. No brainer, go for it.

It seems LG's budget local dimming models don't do so well according to rtings. I think most likely i'll end up with the tested and proven MU6100...

The Panasonic 65" price dropped to 4699 now at Seng Heng.

How does it compare versus the Samsung MU6100 and Sony x7000?

Up to personal preference bro
I was choosing between Pana and x7000 last month. Ended up with x7000

Reason you went with x7000 over the Panasonic?

Z9D is still the best back lit LCD TV that I have seen to date mainly due to the excellent FALD backlighting. Wish I was there to grab the 65" unit at below RM9k. There will be some nice LCD TV coming out this year but the price will be at the level of an OLED.

If price on par with OLED, I think I'll go for OLED.

went and have a brief look, the MU6100 got a narrow viewing angle. The Panasonic EX600 looks very nice, but not sure about the performance for dark scenes and the likes. X7000 has got wide viewing angle.

Need more time to compare the X7000 vs the EX600
