Deal: 65″ LG NanoCell 8K TV now offered with RM7,000 discount on 8.8

LG is offering massive discounts for its NanoCell TV lineup. The LG NanoCell 8K TV was just launched in Malaysia last week and you can get up to RM7,000 off on the official LG online store on Shopee during the 8.8 sale.

Until 8th August 2020, you can enjoy savings between RM400 to RM7,000 for its 49″, 55″, 65″ TVs from the Nano81 and Nano95 range. Below are the list of available promos:

65NANO95TNA (65″ 8K) – RM21,999 RM14,999 (RM7,000 off)
65NANO81TNA (65″ 4K) – RM6,999 RM6,299 (RM400 off + RM300 voucher)
55NANO81TNA (55″ 4K) – RM4,499 RM3,999 (RM300 off + RM200 voucher)
49NANO81TNA (49″ 4K) – RM3,499 RM3,099 (RM300 off + RM100 voucher)

LG’s 8K 65″ NanoCell TV retails for RM21,999 and it pushes 8K resolution (7680×4320 pixels) on an IPS panel that supports HDR 10 Pro. According to LG, it’s NanoCell technology reproduces pure colour by applying about 1nm nanoparticles to filter out impure colours.

The TV is capable of upscaling existing content to 8K with its AI-assisted α9 Gen3 AI processor. It runs on webOS Smart TV which you can navigate with the provided Magic Remote Control.

The platform offers native Apple TV and Netflix app, and has support for Apple AirPlay 2, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. For audio, it comes with 40W down-firing speakers and you have the option to enable surround sound effect by connecting two bluetooth speakers. Sony x9000H is far better tv.

Lg NANO81 review.
Disappointing for HDR movies. The LG NANO81 doesn't support Dolby Vision, its color gamut is only decent, and it doesn't get bright enough to make highlights pop in HDR, so it doesn't look different from SDR content. It also has a low contrast ratio, a bad local dimming feature, and poor black uniformity.

Thanks. I see from previous few replies it seems that the best price is around 6k for this TV?

Good luck on spending your 59k coins.
It will expire, u have to monitor

I used to have 1,300,000 coins before (buy TV, Washing Machine and Fridge on 11.11). Very easy to spend it.
Just go online deals > Petronas RM 50 e-voucher and apply.
Then offline use Free Shipping stock up Petronas card (they don't expire).
One day can redeem twice.

Just bought 65" X80H (RM 3,400 after cashback). Couldn't justify the extra budget for X90H as I can't really tell the difference in Harvey Norman. Mainly for Netflix and 4k Movies.

there is difference in term of brightness & colours are more punchy, with 4k hdr & netflix dolby vision. definitely you can notice
but i would go for x8000h as x9000h price jump is too high. better get smaller oled size tv
*
They have the demo Sony video side by side in MV Harvey Norman.
The only difference I can spot is the 60hz vs 120hz. X90H more smooth.

The others unfortunately look the same to me. Maybe my naked eye cannot perceive the differences.
For 2k+- price jump, a bit hard to justify. Use for few years first then change OLED when price comes down.
