How is it different by buying from shop? You not gonna carry the tv back home anyway and they can always ship you display unit

I haven't gotten my TV yet. Really itching to just shoot my credit card with ezy payment and get the oled c8 or q9fn along with a PS4 from Harvey Norman.

Alas, wedding is getting nearer and whatever I can make goes into it. Sigh.

Only if you are planning to get an Xbox one X , VRR doesn't work on PS4 .

Meaning it doesn't matter if I get oled or qled, gaming performance is still the same?

More or less , Samsung TVs usually have  exceptionally low input latency , same goes for the newer LG C9 & E9 & W9.
*
Guess I have to wait for next year then since I can't afford any of the newer tvs.

That is a silly question .

Just like asking why doesn't everyone get a Bentley .

Not everyone is willing to drop a lot of cash onto a TV screen .

Oh opps. Sorry for that! Was stalking the thread and nobody suggest it

which model are you comparing with ?

Unlike the rest I'm in the middle of having a budget for a 65 cx or use that budget to buy a 75inch TV like a Sony/Samsung

Not many asks shall I sacrifice picture quality to panel size since I'm sitting close to my TV. (5 feet)

with that budget and distance, 65cx is no brainer for me
Edited: for 5f i think above 65 is overkill, but it all back to individual i guess
*
Yeah the cx is most likely the safest bet now. No more waiting for the CXO for 2021

I finally pulled the trigger for the first TV I ever owned in my life.

Walked into harvey norman asking for the 65 inch oled lg CX but it bothered me that on top of the warranty I am forking 14k for just the TV and it won't arrive Kuching even till CNY.

So I settled for a 75 inch Sony x9000H. Total damage 11k plus. (TV was 9k)

Will buy a sound bar and possibly a Ps5

What was the extra that you paid, since the tv only 9k?
*
Warranty for another 3 years from harvey norman.

Lg cx warranty almost 2k to 3k plus. Big turn off.

You could consider SenQ using Citibank card. You get 2 years extra free warranty making it a total of 4.

And LG gives RM500 rebates
