I’m also in the market for 65inch TV.

UHD is about RM5k

Super/Premium UHD RM8k
LG 65sj850t  vs  Samsung UA65MU7000 vs Sony X8500e

OLED is RM14k and out of my budget.

Haven’t decided but with models being replaced now, they should be clearing stock now.

I understand prices may drop in April/May when new models hit our shores (in time for the World Cup).

I would think you would be able to get UHD for RM4.5k and SUHD for RM7k soon.

Any comments or suggestions.

Wait for new 2018 models for LG and Samsung to be launched in MY. Or apply HSBC Credit card via lazada and get lazada voucher(RM400 if not mistaken) and buy whichever TV you are targeting now.

Other than the zd9 the others are not really that cheap. Should try 11.11 sale, there were some very good prices last year.

If you check sony website. Assuming that old models will be gone, there is no 65" as the same class as zd9 other than OLED. X90 and X94 are 85" and 75". Not sure what sony is thinking.... sigh doh.gif

Yup, Sony really screw up in Malaysia with regards to mid-high end models. There are no good 65" models in this range. It seems that the 2018 models are going to be the same also. The wonderful X9000F seems to be only sold in 85".
Which means if you want 65" you either take the X85 or the Oled.

Well the only choice is to pray for oled price drop for sony anniversary sale.

Samsung 2018 Qled have been listed rin Samsung Malaysia website. currently only 65" Q7FN got the RRP. the RRP is RM15,999.99. WTF !!!!!! Gila markup.

As comparison the same model in US RRP is USD2,599.99.

Let say take exh rate at 4.5. USD2,599.99x4.5+GST=RM12,402.00.

RM4000 for shipping and profit. that is alot.
